Just a little depressed, but more motivated than ever
In the Navy, there is a three strikes your out policy when it comes to weigh in! Well, after nine years of a clean slate and passing all my weigh ins, I failed one! Being kicked out of the Navy for drugs or being an alcoholic is pretty bad…but being booted out of the service is worse. So, what this means is every weigh in from here on out has to be the better than the best. I needed to be in or around 36% body fat and they stated that I was at 42%! YIKES! I knew that I was a big girl, but I never really felt obese until today. There were three guys in the room with me and all of them went quiet as if they did not know what to say. What a horrible feeling! Anywho…I just got back from a nice long walk and realized the fat is not going to budge with walking and the eliptical alone…I must start running again!

Running’s good, but are you eating right? Make sure you are eating clean carbs, like veggies and plain oatmeal. It’s my weakness too, I’ll admit. It takes about a week or so to get used to a new diet, but you’ll see results a lot quicker.
I know the body fat is high, and you’ll get it down… but speaking as a guy, you still look good!
