"I have changed this goal some. I would still like to drop weight but instead of hitting 200lb I would just like to hit 8% bodyfat, while keeping my size. What ever weight that makes me as long as I am ripped!!!"

If your one of those people who “can’t find the time“, “don’t have the time“, Or “can’t make the time”, then this is for you. Time is not about finding, having, or making. It is about using time. Time is there. You don’t have to look for it, it’s not lost. Time is there, you don’t have to make it. Time is there, so you have it. It is all about using the time that is there for you to make what you have out of it.
I was once one of you. I wished I could do many things. When I didn’t I would insert one of the above “excuses” into my “reasoning”. Well, I finally decided to use time. It took a bit of learning at first. It was like getting off drugs or something. I found myself nervously jumping back to my safe excuses anytime time seemed too scarce. I work about 60-70 hours a week, and I don’t want to sacrifice family “quality” time. However, I knew I needed to work out. So I learned how to use the time I had to ensure I had 1.5 hours per day to work out. I did not take away time from anything, nor make anymore time, I simply used the time more constructively, more organized. Well, I have been able to do this so well for going on two years now, I decided to “use” time to add yet another goal that I have had the I never (add excuse from above) for. I am now in College, on my way to a degree. I can not say that doing all of this is easy but, at the risk of sounding contradictive, I will say it is not hard. I still have the same time for work, family, and working out. I simply had to use time even more constructively. I find that by simply ensuring that I use time and not the other way around, I can achieve my goals with time to spare.
If you would like to ask me how I’ve done this I will be glad to help. I am not selling anything, I would just like to return help that others have given me. Give advise that has worked for me. I am finally the man I have always wanted to be. It is mostly because I have learned to use time.

In this semantically focused world, I find that people loose focus on their diets, as I have many times, by misunderstanding cheat… I mean treat day. By calling it cheat day we convince ourselves that “cheating” is ok. While it is true that “treating” yourself to a FEW more calories from time to time is good to keep you progress going in the right direction. Cheating seems to allow one to slide in more calories in a given day than they should, or more days that they allow themselves to “cheat”. On the other hand a scheduled or structured “treat” day may be just what you are looking for to have ‘slightly’ higher calorie days without completely falling off your plan.
This may sound simplistic, but it really helped me to simply change the wording to boost my weight loss and keep my sanity.

In September of 2007 I weighed 265lbs. I did not do much to lose it for about a year, but by September 2008 I weighed 260lbs. That’s the began date for tracking on Body Space. Today I have hit a mile stone. 30lbs. YEAH!!! I have done this while still improving muscle tone. So I am STOKED. Looking at the before and after pictures don’t really tell the whole story because when I was 260 I never really let pictures stick around. The one I do have on here I had a wet suit underneath my clothing because I was about to go diving. It held most of the gut in like a girdle. I am posting this to celebrate but also to show others that While it may seem like forever, when you hit a goal or mile stone it feels like just yesterday you were just getting started.

You might, as I did, think that the Wii Fit is a joke. I am here to tell you it is no joke. I have been able to contribute much of my core development to this little “toy”. I find the workouts challenging and the personal trainers on the game really help you. I would have never done Yoga with out this program as I always thought of that as more for women. I was surprised to find out how challenging and rewarding this game was. I recommend it highly, You might find yourself a Wii proponent.

I get so frustrated trying to educate myself in the field of bodybuilding and nutrition.
I search the internet and read books, and it seems with each thing I read I am further from the “RIGHT” answer. I can read the same magazine in which on page 37 it says the research says to eat 2400 cal a day for my particulars and on page 67 it will say 1900.
Eat this fish this many times a day, and a few pages later ensure you don’t eat more that this much of these same fish because of mercury. It goes on and on with this expert contradicting that expert. This scientific study debunking that study, rest days, supplements, the best chest routine….you can see where I going. It seems the only way to know anything is to experiment with ones self, and then all you know is what works for you. Of course this again is more a rant than a post of any value other than to let you know your not the only one.

With out intention it seems that I have so false information on my last blog.
Today we did the 7 point caliper test. Rather than having 11.7% body fat it turns out that my percentage is 14.48. Still not bad for my weight but that is equivalent to 3 more pounds of body fat. I submitted this retraction because I did not join this site to make people think highly of me, I joined it to keep me accountable to my goals. I see the people on here as my peers that I must be honest with or everything is for not. So My true body fat percent with a 7 point is as stated above which is still exciting considering where I started.

I am so stoked! I had a three point caliper body fat done and was excited to find I had dropped to 11.7% body fat. I still have a bit to go to be where I want, since most of the fat seems to be around the waist. But other than that I am ecstatic! I am going to have a seven point done next week to dial this number in to a more accurate number. I am also entering a lower carb faze, so if you see my stats go crazy you’ll all know what is going on. That is assuming anyone reads mine.

Ok I have done a complete cycle (9 days) of Plasmavol. during this process I was dieting and lost some size in my arms due to fat deposits being burned. They are harder than before. I did not see a vascular increase though, I understand that results may vary but for me this product is not worth the money. If you have the money and the time, perhapse a couple of cycles would get you where you want to be. I think I will try another product when I end my 30 days with Dren. Or if I find some literature that I can do it at the same time I may start something else. I hope this post helped someone decide wether or not to try Plasmavol. Again I am not sponsored or paid by anyone to do this.

This has come up twice in as many days. I was talking to my son yesterday who was upset that he could not do what his brother seems to find so easy to do and he is older than his brother. We were walking in the park with weights doing shoulder presses, hammer curls, lateral, and front raises. The younger of the two pushed hard and kept going even when it hurt, while the older kept quitting before he could have possible felt any burn. Of course during the event I kept telling him to keep going don’t quit, don’t give up, but still to no avail. When it was all over he was sullen, when asked what was up he was angry that he was not as good or better than his brother, and thought of his self as an embarrassment to me. That’s when I told him that I was just like him at his age, always quitting and jealous of other success. Until the day I was told by a wise master on a Kung Fu movie and it struck home. You don’t have to be the best; you must do your best. I think this applies to all things. In bodybuilding there seems to be a lot of effort put forth, your whole life style is changed. I am just learning this. With all you give it should be for yourself, not a title. Do your best, give your all and if that earns you the title of the best, well then it is well deserved because you gave it everything you had to get it, but even if you fall short of what is considered the best, You can always be satisfied that you never cut corners, you never cheated, you always gave everything, you always gave your best. In my eyes that makes you the best.

I am on my first day of using the new Dren fat burner. It is a 30 day cylce, one a day pill, that forbids taking any other form of stimulant. I am hopeful. Coupled with my diet that I started abou a week ago I hope to see great results. I took the first one today about 8am. I felt the effect about 30mins later. No jitters, but you don’t want to sit around fo sure. Today is a rest day. I started it today so as to see any adverse effects prior to hitting the gym. so far so good. It’s about 1:30pm and I still have a steady supply of energy. I do feel a bit hot though and its 60 outside. could be the activity of cleaning the house or the pill. I will see if it is consistant. I’ll keep you posted. BTW I bought it right here on Bodybuilding.com at a price (delivered) far less than anywhere else. If it delivers it will be the most cost effective pill on the market. I am not paid by anyone to do this, I just want to give some un biased reviews on a few products to help everyone out. I will be writing a blog on Plasmavol in a few days. I have been taken it for about 5 days. That’ it for now.
