Kick Butt workout!
Saturday, November 29th, 2008I just got back from the gym and had a really great workout! I usually workout at home but on the days when the kids are at their dad’s I try to get to the gym with Chad. I LOVE working out with him because he is so intense and that really pushes me to do my best and lift as heavy as I can. Plus- he is the sexiest man on the planet and it is like a little reward to be able to watch him punish himself in the gym when I am resting between sets. Talk about a turn on!
Today I did chest, back and shoulders. Right now I am trying to hit each body part twice a week. One day I am doing total body and then doing a 3 day split the rest of the week.
I had a personal best doing 1 arm rows with 50lb db’s. I started out with 30 for 15 reps, than 35 for 12 reps, 40 for 10 reps, 45 for 8 reps and then 50 for 5 reps. I’m not sure my form was the greatest on that last set but I DID IT!
For chest I really rocked it doing 3 sets of 8 reps with 95 lb bb. It was really tough!
All in all I worked those three muscle groups for almost 1.5 hours and did many sets of many exercises! I was so wiped at the end that I could hardly walk out of there. I finished with about 15 minutes of intense plyo intervals to get my heart rate up there.
God do I love to work out hard like that!
