I’ve been eating 4500 calories/day for the last month and a half now. It seems that my weight is hovering between 170-175 for the past 3 weeks….time to up it again.

I was a little frustrated today. I’ve found out that with my current diet my weight hasn’t changed in the last 10 days (it actually went down a bit) I’ve been taking in on average 3700-3800 calories for the last month and a half. Eating fairly clean with average macros around 30% protein, 20% or lower fat and the rest carbs. I seemed to be gaining on average 1-1.5lbs per week and was quite happy with that. I’m currently at just over 160lbs…my "activity level" is fairly moderate which certainly confirms for me that I’ve got a pretty ridiculous metabolism that I need 3800 calories daily just to maintain my current weight. So today I’ve upped my calories to 4500. It felt like a lot of work to put that much food in me…there were more than a couple of times today that I ate when I wasn’t hungry just to get the calories in. I had 2 gaps tho when I didn’t eat for 3.5 and 4 hours..closing those up a little should help. I’m going to google high calorie healthy foods to see where I can find some "easier" calories. Right now I’m struggling with the thought of damn…if I eventually want to be up around 190-200lbs and eat healthy/be lean…am I going to have to be eating non stop to get 5000+ calories in a day. My wife and I were laughing talking about how you’ll see people on TV who are trying to lose weight…starving themselves and crying because they WANT to eat…someone holding up a pic of when they were fatter saying"is this what you want to look like?" For me it’ll be the opposite..force-feeding myself..tears falling into my food..crying that I can’t eat anymore…with my wife holding up a picture of me when skinnier asking if I want to go back to that…LOL lol lol…gotta go eat now.
