STILL GOING..

I have been going to the gym, though only able to get there 1 or 2 days a week. At least it’s consistant though!!:) Adding more to my fruit smoothies in the am which makes me feel uber healthy (even if I am not..). I have to say I can run really fast and have no pain in my knees now that I have added the flaxseed oil!

UPDATE..

I finally made it back to the gym…I am trying to go 4 days a week and with my son’s motivation, I should accomplish that. I still weigh 150 with clothes on which is means I have maintained my weight (and probably lost a pound)…that is good. I have been eating a lot better (again) and have incorporated more raw fruit and veggies into my diet though now I have to concentrate on variety. I have also added a mineral supplement to my diet because by mistake I found out that cutting back on processed food etc has left me iodine deficient!!

BEING LAZY..

SO, I GUESS THIS IS THE TIME WHEN I START GETTING LAZY…THOUGH THIS TIME I RECOGNIZE THE PATTERN…I WORK OUT AND EAT GOOD FOR A COUPLE WEEKS TO A MONTH THEN SLACK UNTIL A COUPLE MONTHS GOES BY, THEN START UP AGAIN. IT WILL BE A WEEK ON THURSDAY THAT I HAVEN’T WORKED OUT. I HAVE ALSO BEEN TRACKING MY DIET AND HAVE YET TO CHANGE IT DUE TO THE LACK OF NOT KNOWING HOW. EVERYTHING I KNOW HOW TO COOK IS MORE ON THE CARBS & FAT SIDE OF THINGS…PLUS, I HAVE BEEN TO BUSY TO PRE-PLAN BEFORE I WENT SHOPPING THIS WEEK…SO, NOW THAT I POSTED THIS, AND EVERY ONE KNOWS I AM SLACKING, I HAVE TO GET MY SELF GOING…SOMEHOW…

Yesterday I tracked what I ate…then I went onto livestrong.com and did the daily plate which tracks your meals and breaks them down and I realized….a) I do not eat enough (even though I figured I needed to eat less to lose weight) and that I eat to many carbs and fats…so, now that I know this…I get to stuff my face (with good foods of coarse) and lose weight at the same time..I am feelin good about that…so, let the eating begin!!;)

I am up to running 4 mornings a week and working out at the gym 2 nights a week. I am going to start keeping a food journal becuase they say the people are more likely to lose more weight if they keep one!! ;) I will post some progress pics soon!

LOSING IT….

My waistline that is….my daughter even commented that I lost weight and now she can hug me even closer!;) The scale said I gained a pound but what does the scale know anyway!!!

I HAVEN’T BEEN TO THE GYM LATLEY. I HAVE TO GET USED TO MY NEW WORK SCHEDULE. I AM REALLY JUST MAKING AN EXCUSE AND PLAN TO START BACK NEXT WEEK. I AM CLIMING MT. MONADNOCK TOMORROW…I HAVE LOST WEIGHT SO I AM MOTIVATED TO GET DOWN TO THE NEXT PANTS SIZE.

DRINKING COFFE AGAIN…

JUST AN UPDATE. I STARTED DRINKING COFFEE AGAIN, I AM ONLY DRINKING 1 CUP A DAY….COME TO FIND OUT COFFEE HAS MORE ANTIOXIDANTS THAN ANY OTHER FORM IN THE AMERICAN DIET….GO FIGURE

NO COFEE..

March 26, 2008

Yesterday was my last day for coffee…this will cut down on 6-8 spoonfulls of sugar plus the calories in the creamer I used. I am drinking green tea now instead, no sugar. My energy is low, and I am kinda cranky. I have still been walking as much as I can, and I am going to the gym 5 days a week doing 1/2 hr of cardio. I have upped my veggies and lowered my protien.
