WATER!!!!!!

So, I’ve been on point 100% with my diet for almost 4 weeks now (thanks to dedicating myself on weekends to pre-cooking meals-A MIRACLE!), and been working my ASS off everyday in the gym, because I have set forth a goal for myself to not miss a workout for 30 days straight, and I am 10 days in with 100% success!!! Anyhow, by now, I would be seeing some pretty good definition in my abs because this kind of dedication is unprecedented for me, and my upperbody leans out fairly quickly….well, I was reading this article about water retention the other day, and it said that to retain LESS water, you must drink MORE water…because if your body is not getting enough water then it will not be flushing the water because it is in that "starvation mode" for water….SOOO yesterday, I downed a whole gallon of water for the day, and guess what? This morning I woke up and BAM!!! There were my abs, and also my abdominal VEINS showing through! That was the trick!

 

You can consider me a water addict from here on out…….

Well, yesterday started off on the right foot, I probably got to my 3rd or 4th meal of the day, staying right on track, then I started baking some pies for my bf and his dad…which really wouldn’t have been a big deal, except it A: delayed me on eating my next meal, and B: took me so long that it was too late to go to the gym by the time I was done….needless to say, because of my poor planning, I became really hungry, so I ate a cup of sliced/sugared apples…no biggie, right? But then I started hard core craving sugar, so I had a piece of pie, and a few "sugar free" wafers, and a bowl of instant cinnamon sugar oatmeal….maybe not THEE worst choices I could’ve made, but I was kind of disappointed about my choices.

 

Note to self: ALWAYS workout first thing when you get a chance; the later you wait, the more possible it will be to miss a workout. In addition, if you are going to bake some goodies, make SURE you have eaten a full, healthy meal first, and have a big thing of water on hand to be sipping (maybe with some crystal light) to keep your mouth distracted.

Patience and Perseverance!!!!!

Well, the first to come out is always the abs, and they’re a’comin’!!! I just have to focus, and not get lazy because the easiest part on my body to lean out is leaning out.  I’m just going to take it as a sign that what I am doing is working, and I will have to keep chugging along if I am really committed to seeing definition and hardness in my thighs and butt.
God give me patience and perseverance!!!
