Help!

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

So I fell off the wagon. It’s been awhile since I’ve lifted or worked out, and I’ll be the first to admit it.  I’ve been really tired, sick last weekend, and honestly, I am having a difficult time simply making it to school everyday and trying to keep my grades up, while going to work and still spending time with Josh.  The difference between this quarter and last quarter is that I am taking 20 credits rather than 15, and that has been WAY harder than I anticipated.  I have a really good workout regimin planned out, to wake up at 5 am, mon-fri to workout before I go to school, but I am finding that I can barely wake up by 7 to make it to my first class.  I am SO tired.  Anyhow, usually when I get really tired/stressed, my eating habits tend to go down the drain as well, and they have.  I am trying to do better, by eating more protein, trying to cut down on processed foods and sweets, but it’s been hard.  It just get’s late, and I haven’t eaten in 5+ hours once I get off work (unless I have a little protein bar, but that does not fill me up) and then I am STARVING come 10-11 o’clock…anyhow, it’s a vicious cycle, because it is hard for me to make time to cook meals for the week, so then I don’t have food that I can bring with me, so I will grab something on my way to school or work, or overeat when I get home, the majority of the food being unhealthy….

I guess I said all that to say: any suggestions???
I am thinking about just trying to do my best to do some exercise here and there, and try my best to find quick healthy food, and just wait till this quarter is over to get started again…idk, what do you think?

…16%!!!

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Wow, so  I finally got my body fat tested (after waiting THREE LONG WEEKS for them to call me back to make an appointment), and after being on this hiatus that seemed to be dragging on (grandpa passed away, school finals, moving), I was sure that I was probably at 21%+…but lo and behold, when all the measurements were done, calculations were made, I was, in fact, 16% body fat! This news was SOO encouraging, and realizing how much closer to my goal I am than I thought!!
So, I am getting tested again in 2.5 weeks to keep me on track…

My goal for this week, however is to complete every single day that I have planned to work out…..I’m 2 for 5 right now….I still have to hit the gym tonight…..will I do it??? I guess you’ll have to find out….. (lol)
