Pop and Lock

Yea I did it. Haha Well at least I am learning. I took a hip hop class last night and I had so much fun. It has been years since I have done choreographed organized dance and I misssssssss it. The routines we learned were so much fun. It was a good little workout too. Today I am lifting some weights and I have not looked forward to lifting weights this much in a long while. I went grocery shopping and I am well stocked with all good foods so it is good to be off of vacation mode again.

Are you ready for a mass cheat tomorrow? I’m sure most of the bodyspacers will take tomorrow as a cheat day and if you are not welll then I think you should.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, take it easy, and enjoy the day. It is dangerous. I drove home Friday morning to where my parents live to attend my god sons baptism, and the next morning I woke up sick. NOt just a cold but the kind of sick that keeps you in bed for a couple days. I had the feeling I had been out running getting sick for awhile and then i slowed down for just a second. Anyway I’ve been mostly out of commission since Friday and all I want to do is feel well enough to work out. Hopefully that will be tomorrow. My parents have a home gym and I am just anxious to use it. Anyway like I said don’t slow down or else something will catch up with ya.

A new oppurtunity.

Yesterday I may have stumbled across a new oppurtunity that is right up my alley. I told you all that I was visiting a new gym with friends to check it out. Well I was showing my one friend who is new to weight lifting a leg workout. So one of the owners of the gym came up and asked me what I do. Anyway to make a long story short he asked if I would like to get certified and work there training. That would be so awesome. It would be great to have the supplemental money AND I get to train my ass into shape even more.

I think I am going to take them up on the offer. :)

Day 1 and Day 2

Yesterday was day 1 and it was leg day. I am feeling sore this morning although I know the worst will be tomorrow. Thank you DOMS. Today I am visiting a new gym with my friends who just joined and they speak very highly of it and so it made me want to check it out. Getting back to eating healthy has been easy, I never got way off track just had added a few too many cheat meals in while I was partying over the previous two weeks. Anyway it feels good to be starting back into my normal habits.

 P.S. I love how my normal habits are healthy now.

Thank goodness this little series of partying is over. My 8 week challenge….. well it got lost. So I am restarting the challenge Monday morning. I have kept up with cardio but not weights and I am missing those big cold heavy pieces of metal. Halloween was great but I ended up giong to two parties the weekend before, then Halloween night, and then the Maxim Bud Light Hook Up Party last night. I AM TIRED. I am not used to going out during the week anymore. It was all a blast though. I am ready to take my body to the next level, and reach some new goals. Can we say 130lbs. Yes yes that is my next goal. :) I am very exciting to start seeing my body change again. On and with all this partying and slacking off I maintained… which in my book is awesome, because I think when all the progress has been made, maintaining is the most difficult to do.

Ahhhhhhh what a wonderful week. Happy Friday by the way! I went and hit golf balls last night and I think that hitting 100 golf balls (literally) is a little bit of a workout for some of my torso. Which of course is all good with me. My jogs have been incredible which I have written about a million times so I will try to shut up about them :) . No promises though. I love that it is cold out, I get to eat a lot of soup now. Homemade soup is just the best. I especially love soup in a bread bowl but I will lay off the bread bowls for the most part. :) Tonight is one of the halloween parties I am going to. My friend says its a big deal and lots of people dress up. I can’t wait to put on my costume with the hair and makeup and jewelry and everything that goes with it. I am also glad I am done with the sewing part!  I want to hug everyone today. It is just a good day and I think everyone else should be having one too.

FALL…..Its finally cool here on a regular basis and it makes it so easy to get outside and be active. Doing yardwork, taking my jogs, golfing on the weekends. Going outside to do jump squats and lunges and whatever else I can think of doing outside. It will be gorgeous to look at soon with the trees changing colors. Sure do wish I could climb trees like I was a little kid again. (I can still climb but would look like a goof at this age)  I am always jealous of the little kids and their play grounds where they hang, and climb and slide and they have those rope things you climb up.

On another note I love seeing BB.com getting into the halloween spirit with the top girls putting on their costumes so I did too. Hope everyone is having a great week.

I have not written anyone back. I have not been leaving comments or blogging. I apologize and I will get back to it soon enough. I have been keeping up with my cardio but not so much on the weight lifting. I have been playing a ton of golf. I played 36 holes this weekend. Went to the range Monday. Did a couple of 2 and 3 mile walk/jogs with jersey in the last couple days. My friend had new twin baby boys. Watched football, UFC, went back to work on Monday. Been sewing my costume. So things have been a little crazy. As you can see I cant even gather my thoughts to write a blog that isnt all over the place. I think after next Wednesday things will settle down.

The need to dance.

The need to dance. I have it. Badly. I feel like I just need to stretch out and move. I grew up dancing in classes and out. I love it. I have to get enrolled in some kind of dancing. Now that I feel like a million bucks and im strong, I just feel the need to move. If I was not going to be an engineer, I might be dancing. Not the pole kind. Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballroom. For now I’ll dance around the house. Its also a great workout but for me I just love to do it.
