Wooooohoooooooooo! Easily exicted? Maybe.

Ahhhhhhh what a wonderful week. Happy Friday by the way! I went and hit golf balls last night and I think that hitting 100 golf balls (literally) is a little bit of a workout for some of my torso. Which of course is all good with me. My jogs have been incredible which I have written about a million times so I will try to shut up about them :) . No promises though. I love that it is cold out, I get to eat a lot of soup now. Homemade soup is just the best. I especially love soup in a bread bowl but I will lay off the bread bowls for the most part. :) Tonight is one of the halloween parties I am going to. My friend says its a big deal and lots of people dress up. I can’t wait to put on my costume with the hair and makeup and jewelry and everything that goes with it. I am also glad I am done with the sewing part!  I want to hug everyone today. It is just a good day and I think everyone else should be having one too.

FALL…..Its finally cool here on a regular basis and it makes it so easy to get outside and be active. Doing yardwork, taking my jogs, golfing on the weekends. Going outside to do jump squats and lunges and whatever else I can think of doing outside. It will be gorgeous to look at soon with the trees changing colors. Sure do wish I could climb trees like I was a little kid again. (I can still climb but would look like a goof at this age)  I am always jealous of the little kids and their play grounds where they hang, and climb and slide and they have those rope things you climb up.

On another note I love seeing BB.com getting into the halloween spirit with the top girls putting on their costumes so I did too. Hope everyone is having a great week.

I have not written anyone back. I have not been leaving comments or blogging. I apologize and I will get back to it soon enough. I have been keeping up with my cardio but not so much on the weight lifting. I have been playing a ton of golf. I played 36 holes this weekend. Went to the range Monday. Did a couple of 2 and 3 mile walk/jogs with jersey in the last couple days. My friend had new twin baby boys. Watched football, UFC, went back to work on Monday. Been sewing my costume. So things have been a little crazy. As you can see I cant even gather my thoughts to write a blog that isnt all over the place. I think after next Wednesday things will settle down.

The need to dance. I have it. Badly. I feel like I just need to stretch out and move. I grew up dancing in classes and out. I love it. I have to get enrolled in some kind of dancing. Now that I feel like a million bucks and im strong, I just feel the need to move. If I was not going to be an engineer, I might be dancing. Not the pole kind. Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballroom. For now I’ll dance around the house. Its also a great workout but for me I just love to do it.

I am enjoying running and walking more and more, I am sure this is directly related to how I feel and how far and fast I can run without feeling like someone dropped a medecine ball on my chest. I have been slacking on the weights a little bit but my eating has been good, my cardio has been good and my weight lifting has been average. Its odd cause weights are my favorite part but I have to drive to them and lifes been busy so I’ve slacked some. I won’t let myself slack much. I still feel wonderful. My health feels wonderful. I can’t complain. I have learned from this busy past couple of weeks that when life gets hectic I will be able to maintain my progress which is something I have always been nervous about. Reaching goals seems to always be in reason, my problems in the past were maintaining and now I feel like I can achieve that as well. Anyway back to work.

I am just in a fabulous mood today. I got in a really nice run/jog/walk with Jersey last night. I got the majority of the sewing done on my friends Halloween costume to I can start on mine now. Tonight I am working out Biceps and Triceps. The weather has cooled down and all i want to do is go walk outside and feel the air. Stuck inside until 5. Ooooooh and tonight I am having my favorite flounder dish. Thats all for now. Im starting to wish my blogs were more like Daves and Ninjas, but im kind of a flighty writer so you wont get profound or funny out of me. YOu can laugh at my short attention span though. ANyway adios for now!

Leg Day. Had a good leg day yesterday. We focused on plyometrics and explosive movements and we alternate doing that we lifting weights regularly each week. I am liking it so far. I am making progress on my handstand pushups I can go down and push up more than I used to be able to but still not a full rep. I will get there. :) Its exciting to see that I am able to do a little more though. Its supposed to cool off here at the end of the week which means Ill be doing lots and lots of happy jogging.

So I think I have decided to be Queen Gorgo for Halloween from the movie 300. Its not a risque as my usual picks but I think it will be a cool costume. I am going to start making it this week. I pretty certain most people wont know what I am but no big deal to me. This gives me some motivation to really work out hard in the next couple of weeks on my upper body since it shows off a lot of back, shoulders and arms. Did I mention I love Halloween?

Phew. Last nights workout was awesome. I did back and shoulders and realized I was disliking my new split so I did those and it made my very happy. I feel like my body has finally gone back to normal after the birthday party for my best friend and the golf tournament that took my entire day this week. Between the eating and drinking I was so out of whack but now I feel right back on track. Man it feels good. Thank goodness. I needed those workout endorphins.

So I think I am going to keep my current goals for this 8 week challenge (only 6 weeks left) and then I am going to train like I was going to compete in that competition I posted earlier. I can decide later if I actually want to. I really like that competition because the girls bodies are maintainable year round and there is no super strict crazy diet for the 8 weeks ahead of time. Thank you for all your input, its been great to hear your comments. Tomorrow is LEG DAY. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ok so I have never had any real thoughts about competing. THen I saw images from this competition…

So it looks interesting and more tuned in to how I want to look. Then I started thinking, is my body too weird for that and I have small boobs and do they allow chicken cutlets help in the bra area on stage.

 Maybe after i reach some of my goals I will consider a competition like this. I think i’m crazy though. Thinking about wanting to compete makes me a little nervous. I just don’t think im cut out for it mentally or physically. I don’t know if id end up proud of myself or dissappointed. Something to ponder for awhile I guess.
