‘Cause I totally messed up today. Ryan Reynolds said that the only person I had to be better than was who I was yesterday…so here I go…

Well, as of today I’m officially under the 200 lbs mark. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, and I’m feeling a little proud of myself. That’s not bad, considering my heaviest point was at 240. And yet, I still have a good 20 lbs or so I could lose. Does the future look hopeful? Yes it does! I’m ready to roll, don’t wait up.

Wow. I got to say, these last two or so weeks I’ve really gotten the hang of what healthier eating is. I know what I got to do, and I know what I’m doing…mostly. I think it’s now just a matter of time. There has been so much support and helpful info on this site, plus you guys, you members, are absolutely great. Everyone helps each other, and people see results. So, now it’s just a matter of time…goals are right around the corner.

Ok, need some QUICK help here! I’m obviously trying to lose fat, but I also really want to gain mass. Is it possible to do both at once? Or is it a one or the other type thing? If it is possible to do both, what program is really good for that? I’m on a really tight budget…like, I’m not sure I have any money for supps. Thanks for the help, guys.

I don’t know why, but I just can’t seem to find and keep motivation for more than a week…sucks so bad. Anyone got any tips? Any help? Thanks.

Well, the first week is almost over. I did pretty darn good, I have to say. One week is all it’s taken to convince me that everything I used to do as far as eating went was wrong. I have more energy this week and I love how everything seems to have so much more flavor…dang sugar really does mess me up! Haha.

I woke up thinking that today was a snow day…dang dreams. Yesterday went well. It was biceps day, and I feel the ache a little in the upper regions. Eating went extremely well, I discovered that foods I thought I didn’t like (rice, almonds, and walnuts) I actually have taken a liking to. I do, however, need to step it up at least a little. The exercise wasn’t as intense as I thought it would, which was my fault because I underestimated myself. I guess it’s a learning process and I should get familiar with the workout first. Still, more activity than I was previously doing. Well, it’s time for me to skidaddle.
[Edit] I can’t believe I wrote September instead of January on accident…

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. I’ve changed up my eating a LOT so I can drop some of this extra baggage. It helps that there are many friendly faces here. I haven’t been in contact, but hopefully I’ll be talking to a lot of them soon. I look forward to today with bated breath…seriously! It’s been too long, and I’m happy to be part of the joy of weight lifting again.

Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve been on here. I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve gone quite a bit downhill. This new year has kind of punched me in the side of the head. Everyone else has been getting so far on their goals…I only hope I can catch up. Because I became such a huge fan of "The Dark Knight" over the summer, I decided to try out the work out: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dark_knight_workout.htm. If anyone has any insight, let me know. Hopefully, I can get into good shape before summer. Basically, I’m back, so pray for me, haha. Thanks.

I’m young. I’m not afraid to admit it. I don’t have as much experience as others do. I don’t know as much as some others. Ever since I was little, adults in my life said I could see beyond my years, and that I would probably grow to be very wise. If I have or have not, that is debateable. I came to a new realization today: I had gone about this whole "transformation" thing all wrong. I realized why my older plans had never lasted. It all came to me today, because I do not have the knowledge of all things: I wasn’t having fun. I never had fun with this, and that is why I’ve had setbacks. I realize now that having fun while making progress and having patience with your shortcomings are the fundemental keys to change. That’s why so many people’s New Year’s resolutions never work. That’s why so many people fail at change. They forget that if you’re not having fun, your body is naturally going to resist and set you back. That’s why vikings were so good at pillaging, that’s why athletes stick with their sport to the end: They REALLY enjoy it. So, I have come to making a handful of new, healthy choices that I’ve found I love. And you know what? The future looks that much brighter.
