Discouraged

Today i really feel discouraged.  I am not seeing enough change fast enough.  I am trying to force myself to get onto the treadmill. I know that I wont see any results if I dont exercise.

Sounds to me your not doing the right things for your body type. You should look into finding out what body type you are and go from there. I hate the treadmill and from finding out my body type I know why. I have no endurance, so I stick to the weights and about 20-30 min cardio everyday. It can be 10 in the a.m., 5min at lunch, and another 15-20 min after I lift weights. Cardio only makes a carlorie deficit and lifting weights burns the fat. Both in conjunction will benefit you the most.

I’m not sure what your program is like but I would suggest intervals if your not already doing them. They make the cardio, be it treadmill or otherwise, less boring and some research suggest they are better for weight loss. If you post a little more about your diet and training program the people on Body Space may be able to give you some more specific advice.

    Hey!
I just read an old blog post by pheonixrise titled "Change" in his May archives. Look him up/it up and read it. It may help!
Also, on my profile page I have a video for Nike with warhawk that is VERY inspirational, IMO. Check it out. It always gets me moving!
    Best to you!
