Update
A few of you have been asking how I am doing so here is my update. I am still not working out as frequently as I want to BUT I have noticed I am working out more than before so that is progress. I have increased the weights and have not had any injuries except my back is a bit sore. I have noticed that I do have muscle groups beginning to show. I havent lost any weight really but that doesnt bother me as I have noticed changes with my clothes. The skirts I wore to Mexico on vacation at Christmas were really really tight back then. I wore the same skirt 2 days ago which actually twisted around so the front was the back somehow. The shorts I bought at the end of last summer have to have a belt as the weight of my cell phone makes them fall down. I have to admit I really didnt know how bad my "thunder thighs" were until now that they are showing some muscle lines. I know isnt nice to compare other women but there were a couple out for a walk the other day and I asked my sons if my thighs used to jiggle and be as big as theirs. I already knew the answer.
On the negative side of things, I have had 3 police officiers as clients lately. The first 2 were very self centered ego-maniacs which managed to make me feel bad about my self. They were oogely at women etc and making a big fuss and looking down their noses at the out of shape Realtor-me. I know that someone cant make you feel bad about yourself unless you let them but the fact that they were cops kinda intimidated me to begin with. The first 2 have closed but the last one doesnt close until Aug 20th. I would love to be in better shape by the time the last one closes as my little personal revenge.
But on a brighter note, I put my linen suit on and I looked like an elephant that slept in their pyjamas. It was all wrinkly and way to big. I think I will hang onto it for a while to remember how big I used to be. I still cant fit the dress i want to wear to my neice’s wedding BUT i can get into it now just cant zip it up. Thats progress.
