Sticking with a diet when working odd hours
Tuesday, August 26th, 2008I work shift work 4, 12 hour days and then 4 days off, when I am at work, there of course is the snack bar. which I am in charge, LOL even if I bring something to eat during the 12 hours, I find my self eating some of the snacks, I.E. hot pockets, candy bars, Sodas, poptarts etc. Does anybody have any suggestions besides the obvious, don’t eat them. I find myself craving sugar, when I am on shift I drink coffee, and put a lot of sugar to where it tastes like syrup. I have been trying to be conscious of that and only put 2 spoonfuls in each cup, and then cut it to one, then switch to the splenda etc.
