I’m 269lbs!

I don’t even have a goal anymore.  I’ll just see where it goes before I decide I can’t maintain anymore.  I think I’ve packed on a significant amount of muscle since high school, so who knows whether or not 225 is for me or not.  I don’t know what weight class I’d fight at (if I fight), but the idea of facing somewhere between 205 and 265 is a bit too broad for me.  ON the other hand, 205lb guys are a little annoyingly fast.

 I figure the better my cardio, the more I can outlast big/fat guys.  I should have quit smoking a longer time ago, but…..shoulda coulda woulda.

Wives are great motivaters

I can’t believe it.  Haven’t been to the gym in a month, and yet I come back with the ability to do several things I couldn’t do before I left to MMA train.

1. Run one mile under 12 mins (cut me slack, I’ve got asthma and haven’t done any sports etc. since high school when I was 50lbs lighter)

2. Busted out resistance training AFTER cardio (woah!)

3. Did UNassisted chin-ups after all the above.  I couldn’t do one unassisted BEFORE the above!

On top of that, amazingly, I’m still 275lbs after my less than stellar eating in the month of September.  Once I stay on this routine of gym and MMA, I’m sure I’ll cut weight even faster.
