World Kickboxing Association Bout

Below is a direct link to my 1st WKA bout in the HEAVY Weight division!! LOL She was 11lbs heavier, has a green belt in Shotokun, 2" taller and greater reach!! I OVER CAME THE GIANT with POWER!!

Typical Tae-Bo/Cardio-Kickboxing workout @ Club Fit - Russell Springs, Ky.
Tues/Thurs/Sat.
Instructor – Ron Bertram 4th Dan Muay Thai/ Tae-Kwon-Do
The class typically last 1hr to 1 1/2hr
We can burn up to 1,000 calories per session
We use 4” steps and 150 to 175 BPM music with hand weights, bands and ab balls
I.          5 to 8 minutes of stretching and warm-ups
II.        20 to 25 minutes of Tae – Bo using steppers, weights and bands (Using Martial Arts Techniques)
III.      15 to 20 minutes – Ab blasters (Throw Downs, Crunches for upper abs and obliques, bicycles, scissors, planks, etc….
IV.      15 to 20 minutes – lunges, bear walks, modified lunges, karaoke runs, parachute jumps and plyometrics.
V.        5 to 8 minutes of cool downs and stretching.
I have had several success stories but Robyn Phillips has by far benefited the most from our work-outs.
Robyn diets and exercises religiously and is a living testament to what diet and exercise will do for a person.
I believe she has lost in estimated 40 to 50 pounds in a very short amount of time and her muscle tone has increase at least 3 fold.
