I’m sure a lot of you guys who started out like me can validate… it’s much harder to put on the pounds than it looks.

I’ve been at this now since 2004, and have managed to put on some good size… but getting beyond my 12 month long plateau is harder than I thought. Especially now that I work over 54 hrs a week with only one day off.

Challenging? YEAH… but what has helped recently is planning out my workout days and sticking to that plan.

My dream is to have overall symmetry and have a look that matches most male fitness models. But before I can do that… I need to establish my foundation and get back to the fundamentals (COMPOUND EXERCISES)

I’ve got to take it day by day.

As I approach my 34th birthday… (Thursday) I’m beginning to focus on my goals. And actually putting the necessary steps in place to get there.

As for bodybuilding… my number one goal is to add mass. I’m still so skinny in my calves and forearms and things need to balance out.

Also the scale is going the wrong direction. I’m currently at 172lbs.

While the goal is 180lbs… with a great fitness physique, I still need to keep eating and supplementing, along with going back to a split workout routine.

I think hitting arms and shoulders twice a week for 6 weeks and then going back to the mirror is my next option.

At any rate I must get back to eating breakfast and meeting that 200+ gram protein goal daily.

I really need to get motivated and do it and stop letting work get in the way of my goals.

We’ll see how it goes for the next 7 days.

Much Respect.

I’m having withdrawals! I miss Leg Press and Squatting the most.

When it comes to my goal of improving my upperbody, I’m really so eager, but I’ve gotta start doing a better job of getting my workouts in before the week kills me. Especially at work.

This week I gotta make it count. And I’ve gotta make it mandatory.

Lift Iron or Bust. or should I say "Lift Iron or Get Skinny"

Do It!

I worked out ONLY TWO days this week.
Bumb’d out over that. I put in a lot of hrs at the office shooting and editing and one look in the mirror after my shower shows how weak I look overall.
I really need some motivation to get back to speed.
