Don’t get me wrong I love leg day… but it’s been a while since my last session.

2. Hack Squat
3. Seated Calf Raises
4. Leg Curl
5. Smith Machine Split squat (lunges)
6. Leg Press (low weight, hi rep)

Looking forward to arms and delts later this week.

Felt good to get back at it after being outta town for a week.

Tropic Punch Flavor ON 100% Whey Protein

By mistake I bought this 5lb container, after the first shake I’m skeptical.  It’s very fruity like a smoothie.  I don’t think I’ll go with this flavor ever again. Yuck.

Update and Leg Day

I flat out changed my workout this pass Sunday.  I started hitting the gym solo…my  workout partner would always rush my workouts because of his girlfriend - she would workout for 15-30mins and would be ready to go.

Anyway, I told him I needed to go solo for a bit.

I should’ve did that a long time ago.  Going to the gym is so much fun now!
Did Delts and Biceps yesterday:
and legs today.

Squat
Leg Press
Stiff-legged Deadlift
Leg Curl
Standing Calf raises
Seated Calf raises
Leg Ext
Lunges

I know I’ll be sore in the next 24 - 48 hrs!

My quest is to improve my upper body (shoulders chest abs arms) over the next 8 wks.

Biceps and Triceps

Hit arms today!  It had been to long since I’ve made it a point to hit all bodyparts throughout the week.

Still trying to get my abs in before my trip to San Diego.

Today:
Skullcrushers
DB curls (alternating)
Overhead DB tricep extention
Arm Curl Machine
Rope Pull
Hammer curls

Goal was 30″ waist by TODAY!

Well I checked my waist and it wasn’t at 30" today.  I know I had not kept up with my cardio during March and April… but I do know that I still have time before June to get pool ready.

So here’s to a new goal, better upper body and core muscle development and a lower bodyfat % around my waist.

Back with a few Deadlifts

Had a good back routine:

Lat Pulldowns
Deadlifts
Back Extentions
DB Rows

Abs
Ab machine
Crunches

I have to admit it has been over 4 wks since I did Deadlifts…. and I think with the help of superpump250 I was able to get close to my previous rep range and poundage.

Chest

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

Just did a heavy chest workout with Nick.

Knee raises
Flat DB Press (increased reps on 95Lb dumbells  to 8reps)
Hammer Strength Decline Press
Hammer Strength Incline Press
Cable Cross

Then sauna.

Leg Day

Whew, I feel good getting back into doing SQUATS!

Leg Day as usually is solo for me.  Nick was no where to be found.

Here’s how it went.

Leg Press
Squat
Seated Calf Raises
Smith Machine lunges
Leg Curl
Leg Press (pump - low weight / hi rep)

Then into the dry sauna!  To my surprise they put new wooden seating in the sauna.  Way to go 24 hrs!

Chest yesterday!

I did a crazy amount of weight on DB flat bench

95Lbs. (4 reps) - - It has been a while since I even approached this amount of weight.

The routine went like this:
Incline DB Press - 3 sets @ 8 - 10
DB Press - 4 sets @ 6 - 8 (last set was 95Lbs at 4 reps)
Hammer Strength Decline Press (2 sets)
(abs) Knee Raises (2 sets)
Cable Cross - 4 sets @ 8-10
Crunches - 3 sets

Then dry sauna.
