I did chest tonight with Nick…

Incline Press - Dumbbell
Flat Bench Press - Dumbbell
Decline Press (Hammer Strength)
Cable Cross

Leading up to Christmas.  Turns out I have to work a lot.  I’ll have to make arrangements in my schedule.

Abs and Arms…

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Hit arms and abs harder than I usually have.  Picked up Nick and we headed to the gym.

Decline Crunches
Hanging Leg Raises
Ab machine
Preacher Curls (dumbbells)
Skull crushers (lying tricep ext…EZ bar)
Shrugs
Cable curls (bicep)
Rope pulldown

Then we hit the sauna.

Now tomorrow legs.  I’m feeling good about this week!

Back with a little bit of Deadlift please…

Broke out the weight belt today.  Went down to the gym and had a great back day.

Pullups
Deadlift w/weightbelt
Dumbbell row
Lat pull
Lat pull (behind the neck)
Seated Cable Row
Back Ext. (Hyperext.)

Then off to the dry sauna.

Tomorrow Legs.

Chest day, but my legs are still sore…

Short chest day… as it began to Snow.  Yeah I said SNOW in Houston, Texas.  in December.  It never snows in Houston.  We went early and kept it short, because my workout partner had to meet up with family.

Flat Bench Dumbbell Press
Hammer Strength Super Incline Press
Cable Cross

Then the sauna.

The fact that we were both still very sore from leg day on monday.  We both complained of having to climb stairs at work.  And putting the 90lb dumbbells on my quads had a certain sting, to which Nick chimed in "mine to!"

Legs are still sore, and I’m proud of it.

Shoulders. Do it!

Shoulders… to sum it up.
It’s been a while since I’ve gone thru and hit shoulders.  Today was that day.

Upright Row
Overhead dumbbell press
Front Lateral Raise
Side Lateral Raise
Rear Deltoid (machine)
Overhead Barbell press

I did two ab exercies:
decline crunches
crunches

I didn’t hit the dry sauna tonight… mainly because of the cold front dropped the outdoor temp from 78 to 43 today.

Leg Day - - Ahhhhhhhh.

So I did Legs today, and my workout partner finally joins in.

1 scoop of SuperPump 250, then I picked up Nick and headed to 24hr Fitness.

Leg Curls
Leg Ext.
Seated Calf raises
Leg Press
Hack Squat
Smith Machine Lunges.

We finished, and I was barely able to walk.

Then 5 mins in the dry sauna.

My job gets in the way of Bodybuilding!!!!

Yesterday and Today were 12hr days at work.  Working as a video editor in front of a computer screen can make you fat, blind, and ugly.

It’s time to start looking for a better way to work: i.e. better planning on my part.   That way I don’t have 12hr days at work.

I’m doing legs tomorrow - even if it’s after 9pm.

Quick and heavy back day

Back Day

Kept it quick tonight… I wasn’t feeling 100%, I wasn’t even feeling 50%.  But I put it in gear and did 4 exercises:

Pulldown (reverse grip)
Pullups
Low Row (cable)
Shruggs (dumbell)

I know it seems weak - and it was… but atleast I made the effort to get to the gym.
