injured arm..can i still work legs????
A few of my derby teammates and i decided to go to roller land last nite and skate for fun .. well it was suppose to be fun nite, that is until i decided to be a bad ass and go full speed to show my moves. well that little careless idea ended up costing me a trip to the e.r. As a result I ended up braking my elbow… note to self and others always wear elbow pads when skating they can prevent broken bones.
so now i’m broke cant work out or cant play derby.. this is going to suck big time!!! i’m hoping to get better in a month, i don’t know if this is possible. I’m wondering though iof i can work my legs in the meantime?? does anybody know any leg exercises i can do without comproming my broken arm??

And here I was about to ask if that "pinche dog" had gotten you into anymore trouble…Very, very sorry to see you are injured (but at least you had fun earning it?) and hope you heal quick.
Leg exercise suggestions: leg press on sled, cybex sled you "lay in" to simulate squat, leg press on gym pack machine, leg curls, leg extensions, squats using a standing calf press rack (that’s off the top of my head and in the order I think they’ll do the most good). Don’t forget to do Squats & Lunges using body weight, keep them buns tight so they’ll be ready for the next landing!!!
: )
Fazer wishes you well!

p.s.- Now is definitely not the time to slack on diet and I highly advise you to take up spinning or at least regular treadmill walks! (won’t suggest running as I’d hate to have you jostle your arm and delay healing)
