Hello!
Welcome to my blog! I have returned to Body Space with a new outlook on life. I moved from frigid hell MI to St. Petersburg, FL, I’ve been blessed a new profession, and work with amazing people in the Tampa Bay area. You may also know me as sborton84. I was a regular on Body Space until I was swept away by big changes. I decided to create a new profile, one that celebrates my body, instead of tearing it down.
In the past, I treated my body with great disrespect. Though your many comments and compliments were greatly appreciated, my diet consisted of two 1/4 cups of oatmeal a day and one 4 oz serving of chicken daily. For over a year, I ate barely 300 calories a day, and worked out at the gym for endless hours.
My metabolism was lifeless. I was willing to do it because I was convinced it was the only way to be lean. Funny thing is, I was only 15 lbs lighter than what I am now and I’ve been slacking on my nutrition since last summer. My bodyfat % isn’t that much higher today, I eat crap (mostly), and workout less than what I should. That just goes to prove that starving is about as effective as not watching your diet.
I know that with the right dedication to my diet, the right routine, and the support of my friends here on BodySpace, I’ll be able to achieve my fitness goals!

Good luck Sara. Sounds like you’re getting a better attitude on health.
I was born in MI (Marquette). Thank God my parents moved to Orlando when I was a toddler. My wife’s from Tampa…….GO FLA GATORS.
