25.05.07 - All in the Head
Ok, so after talking to the owner of my gym I think somthings finally sunk in. Im over training.. probably have been for pretty much ever. Ive read it, been told it by many, ´less is more, less is more´ What , Id think surly more is more? Anyway im obviously not giving my body enough recovery time for the amount of sets ive been doing. I train each part twice a week so next week im cutting down the sets drastically. I know its for the best but I cant help thinking if im doing less, almost half, its only half as good. I train as hardcore as possible on everything i do, i guess ive just been doing too much. Ill be paranoid as hell for the first few weeks though until i start to see im not wasting away lol . .

Alright there, ive read your latest and i know what your going through, last year i was in the same position. I was training every part twice a week with the intention of working towards three times a week, i also thought more is better. Surely if your training your muscles more then they’re gonna grow bigger and stronger quicker. i thought that if i simply increased my food intake it would be fine. After asking other people and a little research it turns out more is less, it annoyed me doing less, but i now know that doing more is less. Muscles only grow when rested, the training rips em (too much training, not enough growing) and the rest grows em. It’ll be weird for a while, but trust me your’re doing the right thing.
