As I research diet and nutrition and listen to the professionals I hear more and more about a diet high in animal protein causes the body to be acidic and lends to more inflammation and certain cancers. Plus there is a huge drain on the enviornment when it comes to processing the meat for sale not to mention the fact the meat is pumped with all kinds of hormones etc. So for the next 4 months I am gonna get alot of my protein from nuts, nut butters and lentils and see what happens and how I feel I already don't do any dairy except the occassional cheese on pizza. I will still eat eggs, mostly fish (if you havent tried talapia with Mrs. Dash lemon pepper seasoning you should) like talapia, orange roughy and salmon. I will cut my meat consumption in half. But I will ALWAYS have one filet mignon every other week or so So the experiment begins......... Think I should take a before and after pic.
