My First Blog Post
Friday, April 20th, 2007Here we go!
I am 12 weeks out from Team U/Figure Nationals. 14 weeks from USA’s. I started my prep with nutritionist Kim Oddo two weeks ago. We are taking it slow… trying to spare as much muscle as possible. And with a little luck (and alot of heavy lifting), maybe even add a bit of lean mass in the process.
I am training Back and Shoulders twice a week trying to add width for a more prominent v-taper. I’m trying some circuit training for legs, in addition to track workouts 2 or 3 days a week. Placings in Figure are often won and lost based upon how your glutes and hams look. So I am literally "busting my ass"!
I’ve already lost a couple of pounds just from the change in macronutrient ratios in my diet.
I’ll be posting some progress photos in the next week or so!
