Things are happening just as I wanted them to so far. I am consistently loosing 1 pound per week which is perfect. My upper body is doing well as far as hanging on to some size, definately bigger than last season which was my goal. Hopefully when I get down to contest weight I will still see a noticeable difference in size compared to last year. I can’t say enough good things about my trainer/nutritionist, he’s great at what he does! I am on the last week of a 3 week cycle. Next week thing are going to really heat up, the new routine will be challenging to say the least but I am so looking forward to bustin my butt to make it happen and to see what it is going to do to my body at this stage in the game. I have no idea what my contest weight will be, I am just geussing right now. The mirror will tell me when I am ready to hit the stage and hopefully if things keep going like they are I will be right where I want to be in 6.5 weeks.

Wow, I can’t beleive there is only 9 weeks left until I start cutting for contest. These past 3 months have flown by. I have hit a plateau as I have not gained any weight for about 4 weeks now, I guess my body needs to catch up now. I am hoping that I can trigger another growth spurt before my cutting cycle and so I am doing a few things to try and make that happen. I am anxiously awaiting to here the results of the Molecular Nutrition X-Factor stack. I am hoping to be selected as a tester for some great products for muscle growth. In addition to that I am changing up the routine by adding some explosive strength movements to my training regimen. I am still seeing consistent strength gains in my shoulders and triceps every week so I am very happy about that. Biceps are my nemesis - hate workin’ those! All in all it looks like so far that I possibly have gain about 4 pounds of muscle when I crunch the numbers. But everything looks to be in place as I have about 10 pounds of fat to shed which is totally reasonable for my 12 week cutting period and then of course the water weight that comes off the last few days of prep which would all put me about 4 pounds heavier this season for contest. I am really hoping that I can get another 2 pounds of muscle over the next 9 weeks!
Tomarrow my contest buddy from Vero Beach is coming to train with me
We get together about once a month, can’t wait!
Off to the gym I go…….

I haven’t posted in a while, I have been working really hard. I had been packing on weight very rapidly at about 1 pound per week, now things have slowed down a little bit. I am closely monitoring my body comp to make sure my body fat percentage does not get too out of control and it has been remaining steady at around 17% on impedence, 10.6% 7 site skin fold test. I just posted pics which was quite courageous for me as it has been psychologically a little hard for me going from contest shape to present but I want people to see my journey. I am hoping to be a minimum of 5 lbs heavier next season contest weight. I think things are going extremely well so far. I just took a week off which was much needed as my joint were really started to bother me. This week is back on and I am looking forward to my last couple of months of good off season training before I start leaning out again!

Not sure if I am allowed to do this on here…. I have 4 figure/fitness posing suits for sale. Two emerald green (1 peice and 2 peice), and 2 metallic purple (1 peice and 2 peice). The all have tons of swarovski crystals, will fit up to 5′3", cup size c-d, possibly a b cup with the pads. They have been cleaned and like brand new, only worn 2-3 times. Very reasonably priced. Send me a private email if you would like pics.

Just wrapped up my fifth and last competition for the 2007 season and very pleased with my first year out on the scene. I placed at all the contests I competed at this year and I still have much work to do on my physique, so I am excited for what next year might bring. I need to gain some weight right now and over the next 6 months try to pack on some serious muscle in my arms and shoulders. I have met so many amazing women at my competitions this year and made some great contacts and friends. I now look forward to living a somewhat normal life for the next six months. My body needs a little break right now, about 2 weeks off should be good for me. I have to thank my husband for all of his support during the contest prep time, I couldn’t have done it without his support for what I do

Well I just had my practice run in the open at a smaller level show and got 1st place in my height class. I was not at top condition for this show because I needed to be able to pull out all the stops for my next 2 shows which are bigger contests. I think my metablolism is a little bit shot at this point and my trainer has made some changes to my routine to get me ready for the next 2. Only 8 days out now….. I am doing some heavy duty cardio and lots of butt and leg work. The good news is I get a little more carbs in an effort to try and take the striations out of my chest area. I am working hard and looking forward to my last 2 shows of the season! Especially the Pro/Am West Palm Beach show, I can’t wait to see the pros in action!

Well I have gotten some good quality time since my last competition (5 weeks) to try and work on my dang shoulders and arms. I really worked as hard as I possibly could to make as much progress as physically possible in 5 weeks. Now I’m down to the wire again getting ready for the 3 fall shows I will compete in. I will throw my hat in the open for the first time which will be exciting. Training is intense right now and will be for the next 2 weeks. I have my 5 day per week regular split combined with the overtraining of my legs 3x per week plus cardio is stepped up now. It’s a commin’ together nicely….. Thank god for coffee!
