SOME PEOPLE SAY I’M OBSESSED, SOME SAY IM ADDICTED, SOME SAY I’M CRAZY. WELL I WOULD SAY I’M ALL THREE. PEOPLE THINK I HAVE NO LIFE AND ALL THAT I CARE ABOUT IS THE GYM. I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THEM ON THAT TO. THE GYM AND THE WEIGHTS ARE MY LIFE. IT’S THAT SIMPLE. I HAVE LEARNED MORE FROM THE GYM ATMOSHERE THAN FROM ANY SCHOOL COULD TEACH. THE DISCIPLINE THAT I HAVE GAINED FROM BODYBUILDING IS LIKE NO OTHER. THE GYM IS MY PLACE MY HEART AND MY SOUL(other than my girl Tabitha2686). I MEAN I RECONNECTED WITH MY FUTURE WIFE AT THE GYM. I HAVE MADE FRIENDS FOR LIFE BECAUSE OF THE GYM. THE GYM IS MY JOB… AND I LOVE IT! I AM HELPING PEOPLE REACH THEIR FITNESS GOALS AND HELPING THEM TO LIVE LONGER. I’M HELPING THEM ON BUILDING SELF-ESSTEEM AND TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES. TO ME THATS THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD. THE GYM IS MY SANCTUARY. IF IM HAVING A BAD DAY I CAN GO THERE THROW ON MY IPOD AND JUST HIT THE WEIGHTS HARD AND RELEASE ALL MY FRUSTRATIONS AND EMOTIONS. AND WHEN I’M DONE AND I WALK OUT THROUGH THOSE DOORS I KNOW I’M A BETTER PERSON…A HAPPIER PERSON.

I KNOW LEE HANEY SAYS DONT ANNIHILATE …STIMULATE. AND THAT MIGHT BE TRUE FOR SOME BUT NOT FOR ME. BEING A NATURAL LIFTER I’M A FIRM BELIEVER IN OVERLOADING THE MUSCLE AND BEATING IT INTO THE GROUND. THE WAY I TRAIN MOST OF YOU WOULD SAY IM OVER-TRAINING BUT ITS THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE FOUND THAT WORKS BEST FOR ME. I DONT REALLY COUNT SETS OR REPS I GO PRETTY MUCH UNTIL COMPLETE MUSCLE FAILURE. MY REST PERIODS ARE VERY SHORT FROM LIKE 3Osecs OR LESS TO SOMETIMES 1-2MINS BUT I MOSTLY STAY WITH THE QUICK REST PERIODS. ILL DO UP TO 12 OR MORE DIFFERENT EXERCISES DEPENDING ON WHAT IM TRAINING AND HOW I FEEL. MY WORKOUT LAST AROUND AN HOUR AND A HALF TO AN HOUR AND 45MINS THATS INCLUDING CARDIO. MY WEIGHTS ARE MODERATE TO HEAVY. MY TRAINING SPLIT NOW IS TWO DAYS ON ONE DAY OFF SO IM LIFTING AT LEAST 5 DAYS A WEEK.

Tip of the week on your rest days from the gym load up on bodybuilding foods. Even though it’s a rest day from lifting and cardio it doesn’t mean it’s a rest day from bodybuilding. Still be strict with your diet, you don’t want to take in more calories than you need. Keep you diet filled with lean protein and slow digesting carbs. By doing this it will give you a huge edge in building muscle mass.

This is my life this is not just an activity or a sport to me its not just a job or a hobby this is what i live 24/7 365. Some understand and some dont and thats fine. i dont do this for anyone else but myself. friends have come and gone years have past but the love is and will always still be there. i owe everything i am to this. i have found self discipline, i have found out what it takes to set goals and reach them, i even
found the love of my life(tabitha2686) because of this. to anyone that doubts my words or my passion i got two words for ya….thank you. its because of people like you that keep me motivated and keep me going. i love proving all the naysayers and jealous ones wrong.

Tip of the week if you are a begining weight lifter/bodybuilder keep a lifting log. It will help you in the long run, you can see how you progress each week and you can set new goals for yourself. Also keep a food log because it will let you see what food makes you feel stronger what makes you feel weeker. In either one of your books keep measurements of bodyfat, weight, arms, legs, chest, neck to see how you have grown. Trust me this will keep you motivated and after awhile you wont need a liftin log you will retain the info in your head but always try to keep a food log. If you are serious about improving writing down the amount of carbs, fats, proteins, and calories you take in is the best thing you can do.

Tip of the week: take in a good amount of protein before going to bed for the night. Try to take in about 20-50g of slow digesting protein. It helps provide your body with the nutrients needed to repair and build muscle. A casein shake or cottage cheese is perfect before going to sleep.

Tip of the week:drink a gallon or more of water a day. It may sound like alot but trust me it will help keep your muscles full. Keeping your body hydrated helps everything from digestion to protein synthesis. Steady water intake keeps the nutrients flowing into your muscles. If you are on a high protein diet, using creatine, or using fat burners drink your water.

Love and hate are the two most powerful emotions known to man. they are complete opposites but they are one and the same. can you have so much love for something that it can be mistaken for hate? i say yes. i love this sport but i also hate it. its not just a hobby or an activity to me its away of life. i love pushing myself past my limitations but i hate spending most of my paycheck on food that i end up puking up during a brutal battle. i love changing my body with each and every session but i hate the battle scars that i have on my legs, back, arms and chest. i love the discipline that i have gotten but i hate the stress i get if i miss a workout or meal i love eating but i hate stressin about how much protein, carbs and fats are in my meals. i love the iron but i know that it is cold and heartless and loves to inflict pain. i love the compliments i get from people but i hate that some doubt my word…
This is what I believe, this is what I follow, this is who I am
