Out of the gym for at least 4 weeks :(
I have done something incediblly stupid. I have partially torn my triceps brachii muscle and my brachioradialus while arm wrestling two weeks ago. Since I am never one to back down from a challenge, I agreed to arm wrestle everyone at a party one night. Everyone wanted to arm wrestle me and I couldn’t say no. I wish that I had. Although I never lost, I will now be forced strickly do cardio and machine weight leg exercises. I tried to do some light lifting a week after the injury and the pain was so bad that I litterally almost vomitted in the middle of the gym; that’s when I decided to have a friend of mine who is a physical therapist check me out. She said it could be a full tear, but is most likely a partial. I feel like I am withering away!

Yikes, definitely go easy on it. Arm wrestling injury… that’s a new one, crazy!

good luck with your recovery. that sounds painful as hell!
