So it took me a while but I finally broke through that damn wall and I’m 164!!! The lightest I’ve been since starting this. I was packing up my room to go home yesterday and was trying on some shorts on from high school. I could get them up but I couldnt get them zipped. I panicked a little, but realized that I’ve lost 6 pounds already and I’ll get there! So it was just a little more motivation!
My boyfriend and I started the Keto diet together on Sunday. I like it and I hate it all at the same time. I’ve been really tired since we started, but I dont know if that’s the lack of carbs or from studying continuously for exams. I didnt realize how many things had carbs in them. I’m also struggling to get my daily amount of protien in, but I’ve already lost two pounds so I’m happy. I drink three protein shakes a day now! We count the carbs in EVERYTHING! We’re both so excited for Friday and Saturday… I just dont want to go too crazy.
That’s all for now. I’ll keep everyone posted. I hope everyone is doing well and having fun meeting their goals. I’m off to the gym!

So, I seem to have hit a wall… a big one. I was 165 on Saturday 14 and then my birthday came and I went back up to 167. Not so bad I thought… it’ll come off, it’s one day, i’ll start eating right again. Then my supplements came in the mail on Monday and I started taking them on Tuesday 17. Ever since I have not gotten the scale to move. I’m taking Guggulbolic and Fyre. The only thing I can think that is blocking my progression is the supplements. I mean after deviating for one day I got right back on track and was so excited about taking the supplements. But here it is a week later and it hasn’t moved at all, Im really frustrated. All I can think to do is work that much harder (but I dont have a lot of extra time) and stop taking the supplements. Any advice?

So I woke up this morning and was my lightest ever since starting… 166!!! YAY!!!!! I’ve been working really hard and I’m feeling a lot better. It’s interesting because I didn’t realize that I felt bad to begin with, but I just feel better about myself. I’ve been pretty good today… though I’ve strayed a little as well. I had egg whites (as usual) for breakfast and a piece of banana bread instead of toast. I worked out hardcore after class and then had a protein shake for lunch. I’ve also been trying to take flax pills but I can’t seem to figure out a schedule, I always manage to forget them at some point throughout the day. After my workout I was 166.2 and then after dinner I was 166.6. I’m really excited because I’m hoping that I’ll be around 165 when I wake up tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is a big day for me. I’m on duty tonight until 2 am, then up at 8 to work out and then training at 9.30 til 4, then my birthday party! I’m hoping that tomorrow will not undo all of my hard work!!! I’ll keep everyone updated. I hope everyone is doing well and succeeding!!!!

So this morning I woke up and was 167. I went to breakfast and had egg whites, a piece of rye toast and a grapefruit, along with 24 ounces of water. Then I came back to my room, did cardio for an hour got back on the scale and it said 168!!! How can this be? My bodyfat percentage dropped, but my weight went up. My breakfast was not that huge, there’s no way that i should weigh that much! Oh well, just feeling a little down right now. Hopefully it’ll move during the day.

So today I got on the scale and was 167. So I think I’m doing ok. I feel like I could be doing so much better though. I’m having trouble with the whole stomach shrinking thing. I’ve just gotta stay strong and disciplined. I’ve also been doing an intense cardio routine everyday, and my muscles are so fatigued. This week has been pretty rough, but I’m hoping it’ll get better from here.
Let’s see, yesterday I had eggwhites, toast, raisin bran, and two glasses of water for breakfast. Then I had a protein shake and a banana for lunch. For dinner I had a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato. I resisted the snack attack that my cafeteria sponsered last night!!!!! YAY ME!!! But I fell victim to snacking at work. Ugh.
Today I had eggwhites, yougurt, milk, a biscuit, and water for breakfast. I had a snack bag of chips (I know) a protein shake and a banana for lunch. I picked the meat out of the lasagna tonight and had a ton of steamed vegetables and two glasses of water. I’ve had a brownie so far tonight here at work. BUT THAT’S ALL IM EATING TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!
I just ordered some supplements yesterday and I’m really excited for them to arrive. I also purchased an e-book on the glycemic index diet. I’m really happy that the scale has been moving and if I can get under 165 by the end of the week I’ll be so happy I think I would cry!
I hope everyone is having good luck and doing well on their plans and seeing the results that they want. Thanks to everyone for your support!!!

So, I’ve finally given in to the whole blog thing. I think I’m going to use this mainly to keep track of what I’ve eaten throughout the day and what type of exercise I have done. First off, I would like to say, that I find it inspiring that I can fall off the wagon a little (as I did during Easter weekend) and not fall too far from where I was before hand, not that I plan on doing that every weekend. This past week has been difficult, but my boyfriend is very supportive and is helping me every step of the way. Now, that I’ve been doing it for a week and I’ve seen real results (I’ve never hardcore dieted before) I’m very excited to continue on with it. I’ve found that my bodyspace keeps me motivated!!!
So far today I’ve had ~1 cup of eggwhites/egg substitute, 4 glasses of water (gotta keep super hydrated!), a glass of milk, a bowl of kashi, two slices of rye bread, a banana, a protein bar, and a protein shake.
I’m trying the whole glycemic index diet to help me along and it seems to be working really well for me. I can eat a whole lot of food, but it is very easy to distinguish the good foods from the bad foods now. I’m surprised at the things it does allow me to eat. I’ve learned all about moderation on it as well. I would highly recommend it to someone starting out who is having difficulty finding the right diet for themselves.
