Scratch that last post. I picked up my gallon water jug last night because someone had thrown my out at work and started downing water today. Yeah…that’s all needed, more water. Much more energy now. Amazing what more water can do for you. I gotta start drinking at least a gallon everyday.

I’ve decided that I will do a carb day in the middle (tomorrow) of the week rather than the weekend. Since I weight train 6 days a week and pretty much do cardio everyday, I think I am going to need a midweek rush. When I say "carb day" for an endomorph that’s more like 1-2 meals of carbs. I will have 1/2 cup of oatmeal for breakfast and maybe something pre-workout. THAT’S IT! I do notice since I have been on this diet that it took quite some time to burn the carbs out of my system that is a sure fire sign that my endomorphic body only needs a limited amout of carbohydrates for an entire week. I will not carb load on the weekends as the anabolic diet suggests because it really only takes 1 meal of carbs for little old me to feel the effects. So I think day 13 will be my oatmeal day. Much needed probably. I will probably go about 5 days after this on 40g’s or less of carbs again. Then, do another oatmeal day. We’ll see how this works out.

Well, the workout wasn’t amazing, but I made some really good efforts on bench. Little by little I am getting stronger as well as losing bodyfat. That’s exactly what I want. I had to skimp on Incline Bench because I totally blew myself out on flat bench. At any rate, my energy levels are quite constant. I don’t have any short energy spurts like I did with carbs, but the energy seems to not run out. It’s there, but it’s there, but I might need to add a little kick someone how to get a good pump for the workout. I supplemented heavily with fish oil caps today. I like that I am getting more of my omega 3’s and 6’s.

I can’t believe how this is affecting my body. (mean that in a good way) I see my weight/bodyfat going down so quickly. I’m not entirely sure if it is healthy or not, but I am not weaker in the gym. I still do the poundage I was at before I started the diet. Sometimes a tiny bit more. I guess I’m just reluctant to believe that this is happening much faster than on a regular diet, but it looks like this is all my body needed to shed the excess fat much faster. When I was doing a regular 40/30/20 split for protein carbs and fats, my bodyfat wouldn’t budge from 12-13%. Well, we’ll see what’s in store.

Well, I feel a little bit better about myself then I did yesterday after I ate at the party. Today I did 2 cardio sessions. My energy levels are awesome today. I didn’t set myself back too much fortunately. I’ll just keep trucking. I don’t mind this process taking longer as long as I see results. As long as the bodyfat goes down, even if it is just by a tenth of a percent. That is just one tenth of a percent closer to my goal!

I am so pissed off. I went to a company party yesterday and I thought I would be good and not eat any carbohydrates. Well, I was doing good until I came home and read that pulled pork has 12g’s of carbs per 5oz. I ate a lot of it thinking that it was low in carbs because of it being pork. Wow, I was wrong. I woke up and my bodyfat had immediatly gone up. Only by .5%, but still when you are trying to hard to achieve a goal this pisses you off. I immediately went and did 40 minutes cardio in the morning. I’ll probably do another session tonight. Other than that my workout yesterday wasn’t one because I was tired from another date friday night. I just did cardio for 40 minutes.

I didn’t get to post yesterday so I am posting how I felt yesterday this morning. Wow, I thought I was going to be wiped out, but somehow after I ate all my meals I had amazing energy. It was another great workout. Didn’t hit any personal bests, but noticing my weight and bodyfat going down and keeping right around the same weight shows me something. I should be right around exactly 11% by tomorrow. I HAVE to do cardio today. On this diet cardio makes the fat loss SO quick.

I had a little bit of trouble sleeping last night because my stomach was a bit upset, but it passed rather quickly. I woke up this morning and I had no idea that I would have one of the best pumped workouts every. Today is my day off from work so I decided to go to the gym around 1030. I ate my fat/protein based breakfast around 815/830 and by the time I got to the gym I was seeing stars I was so pumped. I believe my metabolism has finally made the switch to fat burning. My energy was unlimited. It wasn’t like carbohydrate energy, which boosts you for say 30-45 minutes. It was like constant power. As if someone had pumped me full of some kind of endurance drug. I didn’t particularly lift heavy weights, but the weight that I normally lifted for 10-12 reps was so easy. Looks like it’s time to move up in weights. My bodyfat is decreasing exponentially now. I can see that my weight is fluctuating, but that doesn’t matter to me because all I care about is getting down to my target bodyfat of 10%. I’m only about 1% off now. Anyway, the energy after the gym is still there. I hope this is the start of something amazing. I want every workout to feel like this.

Today my energy levels were much more normal. For some reason I couldn’t stop eating. I was never full. I got all the right fats and proteins in me, but I just couldn’t fill myself. My workout was ten times better than yesterday although the energy levels were still not back to where they used to be. I’m thinking within the next few days my energy levels will reset after I start burning only fat for fuel. We’ll see.

I’ve decided to catalog my trip through the anabolic diet. Being a very carb sensitive person I turned to this diet 4 days ago. In hopes of getting down to the bodyfat percentage that I want. I had prior being doing just a regular split of good nutrition, but really to no avail because as soon as I would eat carbohydrates it seemed that my bodyfat would just go right back up. So this is an experimentation phase for me. This is day 4 of 12 of the induction phase. My energy levels were so-so during the day, but my lifting was complete crap. I did half the workload that I could normally handle. My body is readjusting to the fat burning stage still. I’ve read that it’s like the 8-9th day that people really feel the effects. We’ll see what happens. I’m having a really hard time getting in all the fat that I need. I want to the store and bought myself a 5 lb. thing of beef. I got the cheaper more fat one, which for this diet, is fine. We’ll see what happens. Tomorrow is supposed to be leg day 1 of my routine, but we’ll see how my energy levels fair.
