Yeah, I didn’t get to my journal last week. Friday was the 4th of July and I was busy. I didn’t even workout that day. Geshhhhh. Ok, new program for me. Its time to cut. Oh man, here we go. I’ve never done a real cutting before. I’m very new to bodybuilding. A year ago as was all about burning the fat I had and then it was all about building muscle. My bulk phase lasted 6 months as I was seeing results and wanted bigger stronger muscles. Ive been at a plateau now for a month and the choice was either change my routine, work through the plateau or go in a different direction. Well here it is, and I look forward to a new change in my diet and routine. So for now, cardio, 5 days a week, half hour a day, Ill do that at lunch and then go back to the gym after work an do two body parts, one large muscle group and one small. If anone has any examples of there cutting, stuff that has worked well for you, share it here so I and others can learn. Ok all, more to come.

Another fun week. I stepped it up this week. Well, at least my intention was to do so. I have started going to the gym twice daily. I love it. Working a small body part at lunch and going back after work for the large muscle group. I’ve thrown in abs and cardio and feel fantastic. I feel tighter, Im loosing body fat and most importantly growing muscle. Thats what it’s all about. On my flat bench pullovers I did 70 pounds. A new weight record for me. I continued doing bicep stuff (using very modest weight) so my wrist will not become re injured, and got a good bicep pump. It’s been a while for that to happen, I loved it. Im eating 500 more calories to see how my body reacts. So far so good. My stregnth has increased and my body fat as decreased, like I said, I can’t ask for anyting more then that. Ok, great week.

Ok, it’s Friday the 13th. This week was great. I started going in the gym twice a day on a regular basis. I go in at lunch for 40 minutes and do cardio, abs or a small muscle group (forarms, shoulders, wrists, bicep and tricep). Or any combination of the group. I then go back after work and do the large muscle group. It was been great. I feel tighter this week. Harder, and I finally started doing bicep stuff again. I had stopped bicep movements because of my wrist. I am getting back into it very slowly, taking it easy so i don’t re injure my wrist. It is going great. Everything else is still the same in my training. I’m happy with how my body is responding to what I’m doing. It is a slow process but as I continue doing this I keep growing bigger, and tighter and more define. I can see my overall goal becoming achieved.

Ok, another week gone. It has been a great week so far. I squatted 3 plates. Weight of 270 the bar 45 so total 315. Heeee hawww, I love it when I can break a new weight record. My bent over row was still lacking. I’ve done 100 pounds but since my wrist, (though healed) I think, I only did 70 pounds last night, just to be safe. I’m kinda feeling out what I do with the free weights to make sure I don’t aggitage or re injure my wrist. I need to weigh myself. So, all in all, great week, I’ll continue doing what I’m doing. Oh yea, I got straps for hanging ab lifts. Man I love it. They are fantastic. Great workout on the abs, and its easy to hang. I’m sure a person could buy them on bb.com.

Another week gone down. Friday, thank goodness. It’s been a long week. Work has been hard, I mention this stuff because it totally effects my workouts. Do I go into the gym feeling happy, sad, depressed, angry, ect… My wrist has finally healed enough so that I can lift again. THANK YOU GOD. Yes, you bet, I have been prayer for healing for sure. I’ve gotten to do my lifting and am happy. I fianlly felt an upper body pump again. Man that feels great. Im not aware of any lifting records this week for me. I am going to start putting an effort, (more of an effort) into getting rid of that last little bit of fat that covers my nice strong abs. Sure, I’m doing it for the looks, to show my abs, but also to have that last bit of fat gone, to feel 100% solid. I’m changing my diet just a touch, taking in a little more protien and little less carbs. Adding some cheese and soy milk and cutting out one of the cups of rice I eat daily and I’m gonna make sure that if I miss a meal that I drink a shake. Ok, thats it for this week.

Interesting week. I really took this week off, for the most part. To allow my wrist the opportunity to heal. It is so hard to stay out of the gym. I really miss my heavy lifting. I’ve done cardio and abs and legs so I"ve done some stuff. A new record for me was on the leg press, did 9 plates and could have done more. That was for a rep of 12. Ok, so, all in all, great week. I hope my wrist heals quickly and I can get back in the gym bigtime.

So, my wrist is messed up. It was messed up last week too. It started to feel good, it didn’t hurt so I went in the gym and did some bicep curls and bam, hurt again. So, I’m not doing any lifting. Man I hate that. I have done legs and cardio and ab stuff, but no lifting. I won’t lift again untill I know my wrist is healed. I updated my pics. I waited two months and have had some incredible progress. I’m happy with what I have achieved. New muscle growth on every part of my body. I feel stronger and healthier. I think I’ve had new growth the most on my back and pecs. My pecs, (for whatever reason) just exploded with growth. Love it. Ok, so here I am, Friday, I won’t lift today though I will do something at the gym. I’ll wait another two months and do new pics then.

Ok, another week gone by. My wrist is still healing. I’m using a brace now at work. I type all day and to be honest I think this is where the injury occured. It is healing though and I have been at the gym all week lifting. I just have to do lifts that don’t aggrivate the wrist. I did step it up on cardio. I did a 40 minute every 30 second 50% and then minute 100% split. Man, kicked my but. And I learned some new ab exercises. All in all, another great week.

Not a fun week. Well, sort of not fun. I injured my wrist. I don’t know how, it just started hurting. So, I totally had to back off lifting this week. I’m very sad. I hate it when anything takes me away from my lifting. So I did cardio, abs, and legs and I plan on doing chest today. I’ll lift and I’ll be very careful about how I do it and with what weight I use. I don’t want to aggitate this injury anymore and it feels much better today. If it didn’t I won’t lift. So, no new records for me this week. It’s all good. New photo spread to come at the end of this month to show my progress. I’m excited about it and am feeling really great overall.

Ok, lots going on this week. So, first I had some growth in my chest so I decided to show it and got a great pic of my pecs. I’m pretty happy with them right now, but rest assured, never satisfied and will continue to make em grow bigger, tighter and more define. That goes double for the rest of my body too. I decided to post a video. I was a little uncomfortable with the idea, its different then taking pictures but I’m glad I did and as I learn how to do them, they will improve. Over all, I’m feeling better and stronger and tighter this week. Another personal best, bent over rows 100 pounds (yea, yea), im now in the 3 digit club. Ok, I gotta work. I hope all is good for all my bro’s, keep on pumping.
