Yesterday was the first real day of my new workout. Wow! I am so sore today, but it feels good to be back at the gym. It was a little hard at first to get motivated but after a bit I wanted to complete my goals for the day. I have been back on my protein shakes and I just recently started including creatine into my diet. I think I should be able to achieve my new goals.

Last night I went to the gym and worked the lower body. Since I have been reading about workouts and different methods of exercise, I have changed my routine around a little bit. I do lift as much weight as I can handle without over doing it and I do each rep slow and steady. After my workout I feel that I have done something, and I really feel it the next day.

Since I have really pushed hard at the gym, I have been trying to develop a decent workout. I have tried so many different exercises, but it never seemed to feel any results. So instead of making complicated workouts or trying to do twenty different workouts for one muscle, I have found simple is always better. Wednesday was lower body day and I went with slow and steady. Leg press’s, calf press’e, lying leg curls, delined crunch’s and declined cross body crunches, at the end of each exercise I felt I really pushed myself. Once I woke up the next morning I felt a little sore and thought to myself "finally I feel I have made an accomplishment", now I know simple, slow and easy is the best. It felt like a never ending challenge to find the right workout but I think I finally made it.

So the last few days I have been looking into different supplements to add to my workout. I tell you it makes my head spin. I also take some prescribed med’s, so that makes it even harder to look for certain supplements. Basically I want to gain muscle, recover a little faster and maybe build up more stamina and strength along the way. So far, the choices are so vast I think I need a nap.
However, everyone on here has been extremely helpful with tips and advice I can understand things a lot better. Going at workouts, programs, diets and supplements alone is not always the answer. A close friend has helped me along quite a bit.
Creatine, Glutamine, Oils, Teas, oh my….. I think I found some interesting info and I wanted to share it with you all. And if anyone has any advice or tips to help me any further that would be terrific.
Here is a link about Glutamine-

Here is a link about Creatine-

So my search will consist of supplements that are natural with no serious side effects or major warnings.
