Great suggestions from others. I would also recommend "Vitamin E" and "Cocoa Butter" creams. My doctors recommended them for an operation scar and, so far, they seem to be reducing the appearance of it. Both are inexpensive and can be bought at any drugstore.

I know this sounds crazy but it works. Some friends of mine are VERY Italian, and their 72 year old father told my wife when she was pregnant to rub olive oil on her belly every night. My friend Mark said he had said the same thing to his wife and they have 4 kids and his wife has no stretch marks. So my wife did it and low and behold, no stretch marks. Just rub it on at night and put on a t-shirt and go to bed. I guess it just moisturizes the skin while you sleep. The best part is that you already have it around the hoise and its inexpensive.

If it helps, consider the stretch marks a "badge of honor" of sorts. A lot of us never grow fast enough to get them - so you're making great gains! Keep rubbing that cocoa butter and keep working hard.

I don't know if it works but I once read that an effcient way to get more protein in the diet is to add instant milk to regular milk (I'd go with skim). You might try that if you want to avoid actual protein powders and such. Are you also getting some protein after your workout as well as the carbs? That should also speed up your bulk. Just a couple ideas, take 'em for what they are worth. Keep up the great work!

It sounds like your metabolism is pretty high right now, which isn't too surprising given that you are relatively young and of course your muscularity is actually working against you (muscle burns calorie - fat doesn't) but all in all, not a bad problem to have.

Good luck with your bulking - just be careful to not get too used to the "see food" diet. Trust me - once the habit of eating anything you like is established, it's tough to break!
