Some new workout tips
I went away last weekend and took three days off from the gym. I felt stronger and more motivated when I went back on Monday. Taking a few days off is good for you!
I ate some chocolate cake that my wife made. Of course I wanted to keep her happy, plus it was really good, plus it gave me more willpower to stick to the real food. Cheating on your diet can be a good thing.
I put away the ipod that I was wearing during my workouts. Now I have to listen to the stupid music on the PA system and the other people talking, but I can tune them out, and giving up the music seems to let me focus better on each set. I also noticed that the same people who never said anything before seem a little friendlier. I guess the ipod is a "don’t bother me" statement to others.
Anybody agree or disagree?

The first one i agree with i just came off one of my worst workouts since i started. So i took a couple of days rest instead of one and i was more ready and focused afterwards.
Im going with the idea that " a lil cheatin should be in the diet to prevent desperate gorging"
And i will have to try the ipod thing out. I seem so distant from everyone in the gym while i workout. everyone seems to be either extremely fit or extremely out of shape and im right there in the middle with no one to connect with. hey maybe ill find a gym partner.
Nice blog.

While I don’t use an iPOD, I can understand if people might ignore you more (or give you more space) as it does seem like a person is intent on their own focus then. That’s actually a nice thing.
They think you want to be alone and respect your wishes.
