Some new workout tips
Friday, September 26th, 2008I went away last weekend and took three days off from the gym. I felt stronger and more motivated when I went back on Monday. Taking a few days off is good for you!
I ate some chocolate cake that my wife made. Of course I wanted to keep her happy, plus it was really good, plus it gave me more willpower to stick to the real food. Cheating on your diet can be a good thing.
I put away the ipod that I was wearing during my workouts. Now I have to listen to the stupid music on the PA system and the other people talking, but I can tune them out, and giving up the music seems to let me focus better on each set. I also noticed that the same people who never said anything before seem a little friendlier. I guess the ipod is a "don’t bother me" statement to others.
