training day…..
May 7, 2009well as you all know i had a free trial with a personal trainer. When i went back for my second chance to prove myself, i think i did pretty good. Whatever he dished out i took it.
I ran in the tredmill for ten min, then on to the walking lunges around the track, i like those better than the stay in place lunges.
They really tighten up that booty and the quads. I will do the walking lunges and maybe add some weights to it. It’ll be good to do those being that most of my weight resides in my hindquarters and thighs.
I jogged around the track 3 times afterward, thank goodness im strong enough to do all that, because if i weren’t i would have given up on the tredmill (NO LIE)
Any whoo…after the jog "OKAY GIVE ME 25 PUSH UPS." Roy says. I did the girl pushups, i can do like 10 maybe 15 boy pushups…blah. After the pushups "21,22,23,24,25, STOP. Aight now give me 15 squats." (The ones where you squat and then jump into the air.) Good laaaaawd i hate those, but that to me just means i need to do more of them.
"Okay now i want ya to do some shoulder presses." So Roy puts two eight pound dumb bells in my hands, im out of breath and doing shoulder presses. I get to the second set, i stop. "COME ON STAY WITH ME!" When he said that i got right back on it unitll he said stop. "OKAY NOW JOG AROUND THE TRACK 3 TIMES"
Once i finished jogging i did 20 girl pushups and then he grabbed a weighted ball first we threw it using the chest then we threw it using the tricepts. Darn ball i totaly forgot it was a weighted ball lmao when he threw it at me, well not at me lol i said oooop this is heavy!! I was thinkin duh!! its a weighted ball, then my silly self thinks out loud and says i didnt think a ball could be this heavy. UGH!!! "yeah its 12 pounds." he said. Now I feel retarted for saying that i think to myself. then he directs me on over to the cross trainer.
I didnt like the cross trainer, it felt weird and my toes went numb. But like i said if its something i dont like that means i need to do it more. i was huffing a puffing but i made it through my training session. I liked it.
what dont kill you definately makes you stronger
