Writing E-book called, “You Look Good From The Neck Up!”

I decided after being prodded so gently by my wife to lose weight with the stinging, but profound words, " You look good from the neck up!", to start writing about those words and the impact they have had on me.  I am hoping to be done by the end of the year and sell it on the internet as an e-book, and for a price under $10.  Two goals here with this little endeavor.  One:  Share my adventure and life with others, and maybe impact some folks along the way in a positive manner.  Second:  Take care of my family and if I can do well enough, stop feeling like a slave to debt and a job.  I like spending time with my family.  I also like being involved helping others.  I do not really want to be a personal trainer per se, but do want to help others with all life goals, which may mean some inclusion in ministry, who knows.  Time and patience will dictate.

Injury.

I think I may need a week off from upper body.  My left elbow is sore, and it has hurt for a while, but not bad.  But my back w/o the other night may have strained it, so I am icing and using Flexall.  Maybe a week of cardio and abs before i come back to upper body and come back in slow.  the culprit was heavy close grip chin rows, and i either strained or hyper extended my elbow.  My shoulder soreness is from heavy inclines, but it is not like my elbow.  Anyway, it sucks coz my w/o’s have been getting better and better, but i am not a spring chicken, so injury is part of the game sometimes.  I will update  in a week or so.

the past 2 days after 7 days of less than 50 grams of carbs a day.  Probably got 250+ grams carbs last 2 days, mainly from rolled oats with fresh blueberries and whole wheat , whole grain pasta.  Did back/bi last night and chest/tri tonight and felt like a monster both times.  Inclined 225 which is close to max far my work sets but did a pyramid up then down.  The some 75# incline dumbells.  Followed up with tri pushdowns.  My upper body is toasted!!

I weighed 203.4 Tuesday am and 206.6 this am from the carbs I ate, amazing what the body does with more glycogen and water from the carbs.  Tomorrow is back to protein and veggies, mainly salad and raw broccoli, except for my morning and afternoon shakes.

The flax oil and cod liver fish oil make the protein shake taste like fish smells that has been in the sun, yuck, but I just chug it and know it is good for my body.  My goal is to get to where my only supps are the oils, glutamine, vitamins, and BCAA’s when bulking time comes in September.

Now the only problem left is my wife is "in the mood" tonight and my upper body is dead, dead, dead, so we will have to wait and see what happens.  I told her I felt like I could be coerced into obliging her request, after all what kind of man would I be to turn down my wife when she is asking for some loving!
