Finally broke under 210!

Had a very clean week last week food wise and it paid off along with w/o’s and cardio.  Was a bone dry 208 Saturday morning!  Which means I dropped 2 pounds after being stuck around 210 to 213 for 2-3 weeks.  My original goal was 200, but now I am thinking 190.  Some of that decision process will depend on what the mirror tells me vs. the scale.  With that, I have to wait and see if the Halodrol Liquigels stand up to the claim of muscle gain and fat loss drop over a cycle.  I am thinking since my protein is staying up around 300+ grams per day and my carbs are staying around 100 or less, it may be a swap of fat to muscle weight and my weight may even drop a little.  We will see by the end of May what happens.

I started using liquid egg whites to make my shakes instead of water this weekend.  At least that way I am getting extra protein and cutting down on the protein powder I use, maybe saving me a little money.  Using the egg whites for first meal of day, around 8 - 10 ozs  with ON Pro Complex and ON Whey protein powder blended together, and glutamine powder.  Will use this after w/o’ and before bed also.  Also going to eat some plain oatmeal, but trying it dry and going to eat it like eating granola, don’t know how that is going to be yet?  Still keeping water intake to 1 1 /2 gallons a day at least.  Once I get to my goal weight, 190 or 200, which ever I feel has me to abs and looking the way I want to look, then I will start working on gaining lean muscle over the summer months, if I can gain without losing the abs.  I want to have abs for my 39th b-day in August, so not going to go crazy in a bulking phase until after August 9.  Then it will be game on for some bulking and try to put on maybe 10-15 pounds.  More on that later.

Stuck!

I am stuck at around 210 now.  I may be a little impatient and may have slipped up on my food choices a little over the last week or so.  I would have to say that the w/o part is easy in this equation, but dialing in the nutrition takes trial and error.  I am still getting 3-4 whole food meals, mainly chicken and either salad or sweet potato and brown rice, but my busy schedule causes me to default to protein shakes a lot of times. 

I am also thinking of starting a T - booster in May to see if that kicks me out of the current rut.  Now to decide which one to take.  I am considering Halodrol from Gaspari or MHP T-Bomb 2.

Man, no carbs and I am tired and cloudy.

Day 2 of shock to system with around 50 grams of carbs total per day, most cruciferous, i.e. mixed greens and bell peppers.  Lots of protein, tuna, chicken, and red meat.  Going to keep low carb till Friday or Saturday, then try to take in around 5k calories for 1 day then back to low/no carb.  Had to do this to get under 213.  Been stuck there for 2 weeks, but Monday am was bone dry 212.8.  Using ON Whey and Pro Complex during day for 3-4 of 7-8 meals.  The rest is whole food for 3 -4 of 7-8 meals.  Taking around 15 grams of Glutamine, around 8-10 grams Arginine, flax oil, CLA, Casein at night, and mixing protein with water.  Will see what next Monday brings.
