Had to come up with something better than I was having. So here is my recipe for a healthy home made, sort of MRP to start the day. You will need a "Boat Motor" ala Emeril Lagasse, aka a hand blender and a large enough container, around 32 ozs.
1/3 cup All Bran Bran Buds - http://www2.kelloggs.com/ServeImage.aspx?BID=31802&MD5=3757c3f0e759869ccf1315fbf7dd34b5

Yes it has some ose’s in it, but the health benefits far outweigh the undesirable ingredients, the few there are, and it is for early am risers, I leave for work at 6.
Add that to 16 ozs. water and let sit for 5 mins, then blend the buds and water. Next add 1tbsp of Flaxseed oil. Here is the one I use -

Add to that 2 sccops Syntha-6 from BSN and blend. Add more water or low fat milk for desired consistency.
Taste good, a little grainy, but easy for me since I leave so early every day.

I wrote in my last post I thought I had injured my right shoulder. I took a week off from chest, and just did chest again this week with lighter weight, including incline dumb bells, my favorite chest exercise, and no pain this time. We did a major warm up first using a different grip that a physical therapist told me to try and the w/o was much better. Did back last night, about 22 sets all totaled, and man i am feeling it this morning, but no whining. As a matter of fact, it is time to hit the t-mill here in a few.
I feel like I am stuck at 213 now and am going to have to find a way to get past the sticking point I feel I am at. Maybe more of an exchange for fat to muscle now I don’t know. I will give myself to end of April before any radical changes, and my 12 weeks is up on April 13, so I will be doing photo to compare with my fat picture rom January 13, 2008. I have eaten more carbs than normal the past few days which is probably good so it keeps my body guessing.

Well, I guess being almost 39 is a little different than being 29 in as much as connective tissue just isn’t as elastic as it used to be. If my anatomy book is right, and the pain is where I think it is, I think I sprained or tore, hopefully not the latter, my acromioclavicular ligament. So no chest w/o’s for a week or so, and back and arms will be light to say the least. Still doing legs and cardio, and it sucks coz I just started NO Explode. Anyway, I will just have to take it easy. Guess the deep stretch incline d-bell presses may have to go on back burner for a bit. If it is not better in a few weeks, guess I will head to the orthopaedic doc that did my knee and get it checked.
I did notice a little more vascularity when doing legs last night, and I will be stacking the CELL MASS and NO Explode starting today, so I will update with progress. 13 more pounds until goal weight of 200. I may have to drop to 190-195 for abs, but I will know that in a few weeks. I would really like to stay at 200 and slowly get the rest of my def thru diet and not thru weight loss.

Started crushing up NO2 tabs and mixing with morning CELLMASS about an hour after cardio, 6am. I hate the size of the NO2 tabs, hard to swallow 5 - 2x a day. Just ordered The Anabolic Solultion for bodybuilders this am. Going to try it probably starting in April. I may or may not stop my supplements, we will see. I do however want to try BSN NO-Explode in a week or so. I will wait and see what happens with the NO2 tabs first crushed up with my CELLMASS before I do. Cardio coming along great and starting to pick up some definition in my legs. My 3 month picture will be April 13. Then the before picture will show up; Manatee Warning!! LOL
Every journey has a starting point.

Started a clean, high protein, low carb phase for next two weeks as of Monday, March 10. Going to see my parents for Easter weekend, actually taking my beautiful girls, my wife and daughters for my folks to see them, I get second nod to those three, LOL! But man are they going to be shocked when they see I am not looking like the Macy balloons like I did at Thanksgiving when they saw me last.
My cardio program has changed. Instead of getting on the treadmill at 4, then doing coffee at 5, I am doing coffee at 4 and treadmill around 4:20 for around 30-40 mins. The caffeine(spelling?) is supposed to help better metabolize fat from adipose tissue when doing cardio. Note: I am not a doctor, and I did not even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, LOL
I am also eating low carbs during day, maybe 100 grams or less, but keeping protein up around 250 grams and still taking vitamins, C, and a multi, plus using BSN CELLMASS. I will have to see what happens.

I started BSN CellMass yesterday, and switching to BSN Syntha - 6 protein from Nitro Tech Hardcore to see if there is any difference. I have been eating clean and restricting carbs for over a month. I am carbing up for a few days to keep the body guessing, but next Monday, back to clean and limited carbs. I will have to take my weight and watch the mirror to see if this stuff works. If I can transefer some weight by gaining some muscle wieght while still dropping BF, then that would be great. Still doing 5-6 days of cardio, and keeping my protein to around 200+ grams a day.
