As I’m approaching my birthday, I haven’t met my goal and it is very disheartening. This doesn’t mean I’m gonna give up, it just means I have to set new goals. I’m in between sets as I am writing this post…lol…so just more dicipline for me. I am happy with the progress I have made over the 6 years I have been tryin to get fit and stay fit. It just seemed easier when I was younger…lol I know that as we age our metabolism slows down but damn…lol I’m off to finish my workout.

I haven’t been as diligent to posting as I should. I feel I’m making progress and I have been doing cardio just about every day after my lifting but it’s burning me out so I decided to do intervals of 10min between sets and that seems to help with dreading cardio. On my days off I do cardio only between 45 min to 60 min. My late night snacking is still creeping up but not as bad as it was. I get so hungry at night and I want junk. I don’t know what I can do about it. I’ve been craving sweets bad laterly too…I feel like throwing my hands up sometimes.

Time to kick it up

Well, it’s time to kick it up! I have been making some gains but I’m not shredding like I want. I start incorperating cardio into my workout. I don’t enjoy it but I have to do something cause this gut is buggin the hell out of me. So I have been doin 30 min of cardio after I lift and 45 min on my days off. Lets see where it takes me with what I have thrown in…I’m lookin forward to the results.

This is my first entry for this blog. I am beginning a new journey in making progress and moving forward with losing the rest of this fat from my person. I have been at this for about 5 years all together and have been struggling with these last pounds. I have to buckle down and just do it.
