A TOTAL LIFESTYLE CHANGE!!!
Friday, June 5th, 2009I’ve been talking a lot lately to my friends and co-workers about my progress. I lost 100lbs over the past 14 months and they all want to know how I did it. They all ask me what kind of diet I am on and when I tell them I am not on a diet and I eat 6 meals a day they look a me really funny. I then proceed to tell them that I changed everything about exercise and diet and that it has to be total lifestyle change if you are going to change your body. They all want to know what pill or fad diet to try and I keep telling them that they might lose weight with a specific diet but if you don’t change your lifestyle you will gain it back. Trust me I have tried every diet on the planet and have lost weight but always gained it back. I tell them to get educated about nutrition and how important it is to know what you are putting in your body and at what times. I tell them to stop drinking alcohol and to cut out sugar and white carbs and the conversation usually ends right there. You see I have made my health and well being my life and I live to be fit. Sometimes I do eat badly but when I do I follow it up with at least 5 days of eating clean. There is NO quick fix for a good-looking body, I bust my a** 5 to 7 days a week in the gym and have worked very hard to get where I’m at. It has to be a TOTAL LIFESTYLE CHANGE!!!
