Thanks, that was what I was thinking but I just wanted to gauge what others thought. I think that's why my results from yesterday to today are so drastic because it looks like I dropped 2 pounds overnight but I don't know how that would be possible. I weighed myself before going to bed last night and then again when I woke up and I was two pounds less.

Always have discovered that "as soon as you wake up" is best for most accuracy. Before you go to bed may be inaccurate, depending on the last time you ate or drank...food still sitting in stomach causing bulk, etc.

Thanks for the info. The only reason I started eating peanut butter was because I was told that it was a good source of protein and the fats from it were "healthy fats" which is what confuses me about nutrition since one source says one thing and another source contradicts the other source. I do get in chicken (I prefer chicken than red meats) but I will incorporate the sweet potatoes. I have only been on my own for less than a year so I am trying to incorporate a healthier lifestyle than my family who eats white rice everyday.

As far as cardio, I am no longer able to do high impact because I developed tendonitis in my ankle which causes large amounts of pain and swelling from continued walking/running. I was told I can't do cardio anymore, by my doctor, which I know would have helped my weight loss, but I was told that there isn't much that I can do for that since surgery isn't an option.

Thanks for the info though. I will definitely take the diet portion into consideration and incorporate that when I go grocery shopping today.

Hard to tell from what you have written but the first thing you should do is loose the meanut butter. Peanut butter is full of fat and sugar. Not a diet food. Instead have chicken breast and a salad with no or very little dressing. make sure when you are working out that you are adding more weight over time. using the same weight and same excercises day in and day out doesn't work. Your body adapts quickly. Get rid of dried fruit and add more veggies to your diet. Make sure your meals consist of a lean protien (egg whites, chicken breast, etc.) a complex carb like brown rice or sweet potato (avoid the breads becasue there is a tendency to eat to much) and a veggie or fruit but focus more on the veggies. Ensure you are not drinking any calories, stick with water. Try getting some cardio in. go for a run or a rollerblade 4 times a week, and try interval training with your cardion doing sprints for 1 minute and jog or slow down for one minute. Lastly do all of this at the same time. Doing one thing such as improving the nutrition but not adding intensity to your workout won't work. Putting it all together and you'll find the magic. good luck.
