We have been busy looking for work and stuff and for some reason I have been super duper tired so it has been a little difficult to get into the swing of thing, aside from the fact that the closest gym to us here in LV is about 10 miles away. It sucks to have to drive that far, especially since we were in the habit of going to the gym 2x a day. But we went on Thursday and did some cardio at the 24 Hour Sport that is only a few miles away but we didn’t like it at all, so I doubt we’ll be going back to that place anytime soon. On Friday we went to our gym and I finally got to do my B3. I didn’t do it last time around so I have nothing to compare it to…
Preacher Curls 50E, 19
Calf Machine Standing 165E, 10
Ab/Adductors 70E, 10
Hack Squat 30E, 10 (We just counted the weight that was added to the bar.)
Today we were supposed to take pictures and measurements but I started my new job this morning and had to be there at 8am so I didn’t have time to do it. Maybe tomorrow, but who knows because today is Sunday and I get to eat crap if I want to for dinner, so we’ll see how I look/feel in the AM.

We went to the gym this morning and finally did another workout. It felt good to be back in there. The gym was fairly empty but it is pretty big so it doesn’t really matter if there are a lot of people in there. So far, we have seen a Lamborgini and a Bentley parked outside…we are trying to figure out who they belong to…haha. And there were a bunch of firemen there today…I told Ben he should look into becoming one of them…Anyhow, here is what I did for my workout:
Flat Press 90E - 25 (Last Time 80E - 30)
Upright Row 60E - 18 (Last Time 55E - 23)
Seated Row 80 - 15 (Last Time 70E - 19)
Skullcrushers 35 - 13 (Last Time 40H - 7) **They were way too hard last time, so I lowered the weight this time and got a few more reps out of myself.
After I finished up my Doggcrapp stuff I had to wait for Ben to finish his extended workout so I did some cardio. I don’t really like the steppers at this gym because there is no place for me to put my iPod and my book so I can’t really do anything to help distract myself so I used the Stairmaster thing instead…the one where you are actually climbing the stairs, not the stepper where you just go up and down…on this one the stairs rotate around. I went for 20 minutes and ended up climbing 93 floors, going 1.93 miles and burned 173 calories on level 10.

No Gym. No Diet. No Cardio… GRADUATION AND MOVING!! Viva Las Vegas! Thursday we did our marathon training and then we haven’t done anything since then. Friday we went to San Diego for Ben’s sister’s graduation from San Diego State. Me and their whole family went out to eat at a Ribs place. Then we came home and I had to go to sleep pretty early, as I had graduation the next morning. I graduated, finally, and then after 12pm we went to the swap meet and then met up with my family for dinner at the Outback Steakhouse. Then Sunday we just packed up our stuff and cleaned up the apartment. We moved out on Monday and had to go to a few doctors appointments on Monday and then around 2pm we were on our way to Las Vegas. We got here, found our place and started unpacking our stuff. After that we took showers, went to eat some dinner. OMG! There is a place here called Raising Canes…it specialized in CHICKEN FINGERS! That’s what I live off of, so it was really awesome. The food was pretty good. Then we went to walk around Mandalay Bay and theHOTEL. We were trying to find the shark exhibit but it was closed and expensive. We came home and went to bed pretty early. Then yesterday we woke up and went to the gym and did some cardio. We were supposed to go back to the gym last night but Ben was too tired so he went to bed and I played some pokey. I’m freshening up on my game so I can go play live in the casino and hopefully not be so nervous anymore! Wish me luck…

I went to the gym by myself today because Ben wasn’t feeling well…he insisted he had a headache but he wasn’t hot at all! haha. :] Today was also our running day. We were supposed to do intervals so I did them on the treadmill. I ran a mile, the 4×100 intervals (.06 on the treadmill) at speed 7.0 for the run and 3.0 for the walk, and then I finished up the rest of that mile. I went 2 miles and ran for a total of 25 minutes. Here is my workout:
Incline Machine 80 - 15 (Last Time 70E - 20)
Dumbell Shoulder 25E - 15 (Last Time 20E - 17)
Lat Pulldown 80E - 15 (Last Time 70E - 17)
Triceps Pressdown 90H - 6 (Last Time 90H - 9) Poor Triceps! :[

I can definately see some improvement. This night we went to the 24 Hour in Brea which is a lot bigger and more crowded. It was sort of hard to superset when people kept stealing the machines. I got everything done though and luckily they had all the same machines I usually use so nothing was different in that aspect. After our workout we went in the jacuzzi and sauna which was fun, but man, I’m a wimp! Haha.
Barbell Curls 45 - 16 (Last Time 45 - 15)
Calf Leg Press 160E - 12 (Last Time 140E - 15)
Lying Hamstring 70H - 10 (Last Time 70H - 10)
Leg Extensions 80E - 12 (Last Time 70E - 15)

Well, it seems like I haven’t been on this thing in forever! I have been busy with school and everything and just haven’t had time to do anything. We have been keeping up with our cardio, adjusting the long runs on the street to some time in the gym. I am almost through my next set of doggcrapp stuff…2 more days to go, I think. I skipped a few days in there because they were leg workouts and we had running and I was just super tired and busy. But now that school is over and I graduate tomorrow, once we get to Las Vegas everything should be well on track.

Well, today was supposed to be our 6 mile run. My knee was hurting yesterday so I didn’t run and it was hurting a little bit this morning while I was at work. Ben did his run without me and I ended up just doing the elliptical at the gym for an hour. I ended up going 6.67 miles in one hour, which isn’t really the same as running, but at least it’s something so my fat self is burning some calories and getting my lungs in better shape for the marathon stuff.
I went to the doctor yesterday and I got a referral to another orthopedist and I have to get x-rays and an MRI. Also, I ordered new running shoes, so now I just have to wait for those to come in. Hopefully they will help a bit. The ones I have are super old so they could be contributing to the knee pain.
Tomorrow is Sunday: weight and new pictures. I can’t wait!

My knee was killing me today. I could barely walk when I woke up this morning so Ben went to the gym without me to do cardio this morning. :[ I have a dr. appointment on Friday so hopefully she can tell me what’s wrong and how to fix the problem. I really need new shoes too…
Ben decided that today was going to be a cheat day so we both sort of ate like crap. Pizza tastes so good! :] I’m insisting on doing some sort of cardio tomorrow or else I’ll feel like a fat piggily wiggily.
Meh. Stupid knee.
