DIET

April 13, 2009

This is the hardest part for me. I give in to temptation so easy. Today was easter and i prolly ate more candy than my stepdaughter did and now i’m regretting it. I feel like i try to resist but can’t. Its not always junk i eat, sometimes its clean food but I over eat. With my schedule (school from 8-3 & work from 4-11) imma have to start preping food on sundays, storing it in portion size containers, and only allow myself to eat that. I don’t know what else i can do.

Weight training

April 6, 2009

So I have been doing the P90X program and it has work great so far but I want a lil more muscle and the only way to do that is to lift heavier. I start training in the gym tonight. Hopefully I can keep up my consistancy. Its going to take a little pushing myself since it is going to be after work and not before but i think I can handle it. My goal is to loose about 10 more lbs while putting on some muscle and to feel comfortable in my swimsuit for Memorial Day celebrations.

Consistency

March 28, 2009

Consistency has been a serious problem in my routines until now. My days are so busy (full time student & full time job) that i was having problems getting to the gym an a daily basis, so I brought my workouts to the house. I ordered P90X and it has changed my life. Instead of having to drive to and from the gym I save an hour out of my day and just workout at the house. I wake up an hour earlier than usual and knock out my routine. I have been doing it for 6 weeks now and lost about 10lbs, but the best part is that my routine is now consistent.  I rarely miss a day and if i do it agitates me. So I’m just proud of myself and would like to help motivate anyone who shares the same problem I did.
