Well as I reflect on 2008 and the goals I had set for myself I realize I missed the mark. The transformation I had hoped for just didn’t quiet make it. The summer thru the fall was very challenging from the aspects of work and family. Diet and exercise were compromised all thru those summer and fall months. The winter has began on a much better note. So, 2009 is looking very promising…

Left elbow has lots of inflammation, sore with pressure on it. Been taking anti-inflammatory (Naproxen), any other suggestions for treatment?

For various reasons it has been very difficult to get back into a good eating and workout lifestyle since the holidays. Our YMCA closed several days and the hectic schedule of events and activities proved a lot to overcome. But, I’m finally headed in the right direction. Have made some good progress over the last two weeks, however, still not lifting at the weights and reps I was at pre-holiday. Got to keep moving forward! Our Y has begun a "biggest losers" contest, over 250 people have signed up for the 12 week contest. Although I’m not a part of the contest it is motivation for me to continue working hard after seeing all the teams of people who want to lose weight and get fit again! Congratulations to them all and I hope they stay at it until it’s not a contest but a lifestyle!

Well, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays have passed. How did you do on diet and exercise? I’m guilty of cheating some! Not a lot, but enough! Christmas was much more tempting than Thanksgiving. Back on track, had a good day eating clean and lean, plus got back in the exercise mode.

Hey bodyspace, I’ve been doing a customized 5X5 workout routine, actually like it. But, if anyone has a great 5X5 or better workout for splitbody workouts, please let me know.
