Hey Bro,

Good luck on the RN program. My mom is a retired. Also, I looked at your profile. You have done one hell of a job! Good for you. Enjoy your time off.

Hey Rick. I was just reading about your dealing with your excess skin. I have to say that it takes a strong person to go through what you go through after your surgery and seeing what you see. Don't worry about it bro. It is just one of those things that come with it and you already know that. I think that it is great that you really want to make yourself a better person. People like us that work in public safety have to be some of the strongest people in the world. We see and deal with situations that most people could not even think of. That is why that I know that you can do anything that you put your mind to. You are looking great and I am sure that you are feeling better. I have a friend who is an EMT, working on her paramedic, and she had the same surgery done that you had. She has kept off her weight and she has had to deal with the same things that you are dealing with. You are an inspiration to me and I salute you for your efforts and hard work. I am trying to drop a lot of weight also, as you can tell, and it has been one of the hardest things that I have had to do in a long time. I know I can do it though. We just have to take this thing one day at a time. We are going to get there. You just keep posting those pictures and don't worry about it bro. Just keep using them as motivation. That is what I do. Anyway, sorry to get so long winded on ya. If you need any help on anything just hollar at me.

My freind across the street, back home, got that done. She has lost over 90 lbs. She has a rough time afterward (pills, bleeding), doesn't help that her husband is here in Iraq. She making awesome progress in the gym as well.
