2/10 Shifting Gears
Tuesday, February 10th, 2009Was sick for about a week, Time to get back to doing some work!
Am shifting gears and doing complex-style training to get my conditioning up a bit. Plan on doing this for about 3 weeks and then I’ll assess where I want to head. Eating whatever I felt like and powerlifting style workouts got me stronger and bigger but a little sloppy. these workouts will be based on the Metabolic Effect workouts viewable on youtube.
Round One:
DB Bench
Alt. Curls
Curl and Press
Side Laterals
Front Raises
Did 5 sets of anywhere from 15 to 5 reps
Second Round
Lunge/Squats
Squat (slow negative)
Squat (slow Postive)
Squats (ballistic)
SLDL
Calf Raises
Step ups
Lunges
Lie on the ground gasping for air
All work was done with 35 lb dumbbells. Only managed two times with this circuit.
