Well, I suppose it is about time for an update. I don’t believe that I’ve had much, if any progress at the waist line. Maby the beginning weeks of HIIT wan’t enough. Well, I’m bumping it up now so we’ll see. My arms are feeling a little tougher, even looking more buff. That may be the creatine helping me bump it up, or even doing a combo of whey and casien. Not sure, but no complaining here. I’m thinking about trying a new fat burner. VPX Meltdown. I anyone know much about it you can comment and gove me some info. I know that its all about diet, diet, diet. But I need a jump start and an appetite suppressent. Strength update: I’ve had some pretty bad luck at the track lately. I ran hot the week before last and din’t finish either race, and I started my  eat on the pole! They were passing me like I was sitting still. I came off the track and was listening to all the things that I did wrong while I was arguing that I had no power. We puuled of the hood and I had 3 plug wires burnt in two! arghhh! Then I ran hot fot the feature so I have no idea if my shoulder training is up tp par. This past Saturday we were rained out and didn’t have time to get to another track, so….maby I’ll know this weekend. I finally got kind of a workout partner. My stepmom has joined my gym. I’m hoping that we can got together sometimes so that I can up some weights. Its kinda scray without a spotter. We’ll see. Till next time…….train hard and turn left!

Weak shoulders

I’ve been told many times that I have strong shoulders. I guess those people meant strong to the eye. they are pretty broad, and feel and look quite muscular, but I have come to the conclusion that they are to weak. One of my main goals is to stay strong enough in the upper body to endure my weekly races at dirt tracks. I have come a long way since last season, and kind of go the big head in thinking that I had it wooped. Well last Saturday, I got out front on about lap 2, and led the entire race, and one. It was a heat race, but my very first one. Maby it was just my nerves, but my shoulders were so sore! I’m sure the tension had a lot to do with it, but i do beleive if it had been the longer, feature race, they would have given out on me. So, I’m am upping the shoulder excercise, regardless of how big my fiance says they are.

Why does sugar LOVE me?

Just dippin in here to say that I’m still alive, still tryin to do this. I have a few good cheats lately as far as food goes. with all the Easter food and working out of town with my fiance. He don’t like to stop and get real food, he’d rather eat the gas station stuff, "Since we gotta get gas anyway." But now that I know this I will be getting up in time to fix my own food!y workouts are still going strong, though. i had another race on Saturday and I’m still confident about my upper body strength. I ran a longer track and had some real "loose in/ loose off" conditions, but I was still kicking pretty good some the checkered. Finished 4rth. Last season I’d have been worn out and fell back on the last 7 or so laps. Ahh, the rewards of training. Do they cease to amaze you?

Here it goes…..

my first post. I’ve been avoiding this for a while, but maby feeling like someone may actually be keeping tabs on me will be a bit motivating. We’ll see. I did NOT make it to the gym today, and I had a Krispy Kream doughnut. Oh, yeah. It was good. I did work outside most all day cleaning and washing vehicles though. The lady who owns my gym doesn’t like anyone to come in before 12 or after six on Sunday, so I didn’t make it. Last night I learned that I am on a pretty good track with one of my goals. It was my first race of the 08 season. Last season I would get really tired, especially for the longer races. I would need to sit in the car for 5 minutes or more before my arms could pull me out. So I’ve been working my upper body really hard, in an attempt to stay up to par with all of these guys. I was pretty proud of myself as I whelled of the track last night, though my race was cut about 5 laps short due to a slung drive shaft, I felt i could have handles 50 more! Thats right… my tummy may be gross, but I’m not a complete failure! I can manhandle my ride… hell yeah.
