Too Little Fat? You can do that?
So for the umpteenth night in a row, I finish dinner…and 45 minutes later I’m starving. Not like "I could eat". I mean ravenous. Like I missed dinner or something.
My dh and I started the Paleo Diet, kinda like a caveman diet. We’re looking at it from a scientific angle and apparently, the cave dwellers didn’t eat grains, legumes, or tubers (potatoes).
So my daily diet consists of:
Morning:
5oz fresh fruit
3oz chicken
Mid-morning:
5oz fruit
10 almonds
Lunch:
2 cups spinach
5 cherry tomatoes
half a cucumber
2-3 oz chicken
Post workout shake:
30g EAS protein
8oz water
Dinner:
3oz chicken
10 asparagus spears
5 cherry tomatoes
See? Very little fat. That’s what’s leading to my hunger pangs. I didn’t realize you could do that to yourself.
All that to say, I gotta add some fat to my diet or the rest of this weight isn’t gonna come off. And since I wanna be Transformation of the Month so bad I can taste it, that means I got a LOT of work ahead of me.
Who knew eating could be so complicated?
