back to it :))

back to it tonight and hell ive missed this. been feeling decidedly small the last couple of days and have honestly missed the feeling of working out. :) feeling good now tho……espeacially since its legs day!!!! hahaha not the burn but did feel a little shaky on leaving and rather light headed til i ate. most single leg work and set leg plan. free weights was empty practically til i got in there then hey it was group workouts!!!! hahaha didnt mind as just wanted to get my own stuff in so took the room i needed and went for it. hey for once i held my own and didnt give in…some guy was on the bars next to me and was saying how easy i made the squats look ( not big weights but its the stuff ive been given to help with teardrop ) easy. went to say no its not. but hey what the hell i was making it look easy cause it was!!!! upped the weights for the next few sets and increased the height for the lunges. for some reason my abd and add seemed to be off but think that may have something to do with care work and glute work i was doing on my rest week.
actually results of rest week = not mastered but have definaely got the hang of the breast stroke!! ill nail it the go for the crawl. relaxing last couple of days swimming as i took my girl along the on sunday both her and my son!! went in thous inflateable balls that you can walk on the water in……..soooo much fun!!! damn hot and sweaty but great! managed to stand in it and tried the whole walking bit but kept falling on my ass…..when watching it looks so bloody funny…hahaha
oh paid a coompliment to a guy f4rom the gym and guess what?? he didnt take it so well so i tried on the trainer and it worked great. so not me just the guy!! hahaha night all XX

soooo ……. first day down and i havent drowned meself hahaha !! okay sad news for some…….hehehe. swimming lessons in the bigger pool so once again only the little one to swim in. fine by me :) means im less likely to drown. got in my 10 widths ( 15ms or so ???? each width ) of back stroke, which i did without to much effort ( legs were aching tho ) , about the same for breast stroke ( not so good…..can sure tell my chest work is crap!! ) and then after a motivating chat from some guy whos kid used to play football with my son!!! front crawl…… my first attempt was pitiful. a stroke or two and i swallowed a mouthfull of water and choaked!!! sad i know. so second attempt was better ( had been watching the swim instructor tutoring this 4/5 yr old and decided to use that as a starting point. cheap yes!! ( hes the one who told me to wear more swim wear if i wanted to go in the inflateable balls they have in the pool …..top tip from him today was how to stand up and move in it hahahaha ) anyways….swimming…… did it, got the width and without even taking a breath|!! tried but just could co-ordinate enough to actually do it!!! but motivator of the day did say it was a pretty good stroke. and yes i do seriously believe he was watching me swim and nothing else!! ( behave!! ) needed a five min rest between each go ( alright exaggeration!! ) and did do the 10 widths i was aimming for, so happy with today efforts :)

now shoulders are bloody knackered and just a little sore in the cuffs but will perserve and nail this bitch before the end of the week. who knows may even be able to learn how to breathe while i do it! hahaha its taken me nearly two years to relearn how to swim but im finally gettin there. :)

relearning how to swim

started rest week today….. okay wasnt suposed to but went to gym and did recline bike then abs. then it was just to bloody busy to get on anything else. most of the big guys have beemn saying about it all week but i kinda didnt notice…… i know im a idiot! but everyone seems to be on their new year kick and its over run. doesnt help that its not a big gym. so gave up as a lost cause and went down sta\irs to the pool. swimming club so only the kids pool to swim in……. ohhhhh and empty so had whole of pool to self for an entire 5 mins before 3 rather busty young girls got in……….. okay i love people watching and these 3 were very funny. obviously trying to show their assets to the lifeguard ( who looked more than happy to see hahaha ) but they just got more and more over the top. somehow trying to pull your mates top off is kinda??? how shall i put it??? hahaha but everytime i just tried to move away from them…… they bloody followed. i really didnt feel that i was missing out on the boobage department ( hey im small and i know it …… but tits havent sagged yet!! ) so decided to leave them to it after trying to burn my shoulders out haha, next week will be a laugh…will try and relearn how to do front crawl. lol ohhhh the shame of it, the 3yr olds will be better than me LOL.  quite sauna, and new ly fixed fog room, hey its no longer the wet sauna….. its so thick in there you could lose the door and never find your way out!!! hahaha night x

hhhmm rest week and going home

okay close to making a complete berk of meself, ( hey nothing unusual there )!! have decided i need a rest week!! so ill have to postpone massage and get to work on me core. worked back and shoulders tonight! couldnt go as hard as i wanted as energy just wasnt there. but its nice to have a change of pace at times. anyways need to go home and recharge meself. need to get grounded and they are always honest about how they see me. need some honest feedback on progress and where i need to work harder. last time they saw me was during last summer when my eldest bro came over from spain! they all saw how muscular i had got and are all for pointing out where i need to improve or what is not looking so hot. the joys of having a family who lift weights ( regardless of it market lifting, building lifting or proper weights ) hey even my dad still lifts on the odd occassion ( and hes in his 70’s ). shit my dad is majorly cool and very modern for a old goat!! ( and yes i do call him that !!! hahaha he loves it!! ) sooooo saturday its off back home. god i miss city life and the buzz. heres good but i still need to know theres other stuff out there. people you havent yet met, people you havent seen in years and places you havent yet been. tho after being sent to outta mongolia for december being back in the town i now live in has been a bit like that. nice to know people have missed you!! night all knackered and need to sleep……. need to eat too!!

comedy halfhour!!

okay have had my comedy session today….. back tight and really got there on lower back and left side. could be that the core stuff is really building the last of the back. better balance between each side but strenght is now beginning to balance out too. after legs day they have eased off ….but did need session on the glutes and legs to prepare for the yoga ( couldnt of done it else ). okay after having laughing his ass off at my falled attempt at a date. he moved onto the usual topic for the comedy….my glutes!!! hahahaha damn!! okay he really is funny and i appears your glutes are not supposed to cramp!! or at least not when he is doing the stretches and massage on them. ( we have come to the conclusion that its not the tightness of them people are admiring in the gym but the spasms !!! and they they may be having an hipnotic effect!! hahha )quads and hams…. well! he has said again about having my body fat tested again. well theres hardly any on quads or else where. just the usual place women gain body fat.

yoga was very cool and managed to hold my own with the dancers ( all others in the class of ten were dancers and below the age of 26 yr old!!!!! not bad for a 40yr …sorry 39 yr!! ) only thing i couldnt do was a spine stretch … where you do the splits sat on the floor and put your head on the floor between them. hey will get there when the ass isnt as tight and is willing to stop going off and doing its own thing!! so …. dinner and cuttinmg carbs a bit at the moment. night XX

needy men!!

okay i have no problem telling a guy he looks good or that he has put in a load of effort for his goals or such but meeting some guy and less than 5mins after you leave him ( alright exaggeration — 15mins ) hes asking what you thought of him then 5mins later after no reply ( i was working out ) he then txts some stroopy answer about " not much obviously " !!! wtf im not a bloody 12yr old !! anyways it was like going back out with my ex —–CRAP!!! so have nicely txt back what i thought!
anyways gym was a bit of a right off. did upper body work, triceps and cuff stuff! will try and do some abs later before bed. jeez cant be many women who takes weights to bed!! legs are better after y’day, well they are now as after meeting had to sprint 1/2 mile down the road to pick up my girl from the childminder. not bad considering was also carrying my new tub of protein!! haha well theres always a highlight of the day! :) so have massage and yoga tomorrow so……. and need to update progress pics. should have some ones others have taken, if they ever remember to get them off facebook and email them to me.  night all X
