Saturday I had a great workout. I did chest, bi’s, abs and some stretching at the gym and then took George for a run. We were both exhausted once we got back and just rested the rest of the day.

Today I got up at 3:50, didn’t actually get out of bed until 4:05 though. Did shoulders, tri’s and some abs.

shoulder press

tri ext.

bench v-ups

lat. raise

kick backs

leg raises on bench

dip machine

rear delts on pec deck

ran 25 min/ 240cal/ 2+ miles/ max 6.6

10-24-08 run

Friday, October 24th, 2008

When 3:50 rolled around this morning I decided to forgo my trip to the gym but to no avail I did get up with enough time to run on my treadmill. I really pushed myself too.

215 cal/ 23:47 min/ 1.863 miles/ max 6.4

In the past I wouldn’t consider this pushing myself but it feels like I’m starting all over again. Oh well, it will come back quickly.

10-23-08 long time no blog

Wow, it’s been forever since I blogged. I just got tired of logging on everyday and doing the same thing. My last blog was a great one. But last week I finally had a melt down. I had been going strong since May and maintaining the weight I had lost, but last week it all came to a crashing halt. I didn’t workout for a whole week and ate like absolute crap. I constantly felt lathargic and just wished I could sleep all day. Maybe it was the season change ( I was really wanting to bake), or maybe I was exhausted from overtraining. Taking a break would have been good but eatting like crap didn’t help. But Tuesday night was my turning point.

I finally was able to turn my mood around and I think I was finally rested and definitely got the bad eatting out of the way. I pretty much felt like crap. So Wednesday I was back up at 4 am and in the gym kicking butt. I didn’t have enough time to get in a full workout but I felt great doing what I did. 

 

4 min warm up on elliptical 

 

Lat pull downs 

1×10x40 

1×15x50 

1×14x50 

1×13x60 

 

Cable rows 

1×10x40 

1×15x50 

1×14x50 

1×13x50 

 

Then I did a 30 min run, with walking though. Geez, you don’t run for a week and you feel like you’re running through sludge. But none the less I was sweating, so I feel I accomplished something. 

 

Then today I got up 5 min earlier at 3:55 and got to the gym a little bit earlier. I plan on doing this over time. 

 

4 min warm up treadmill 

 

Smith squats 

1×10xbar 

3×10x10 

 

Stiff leg dead lifts 

1×10x20 

2×10x30 

1×8x30 pulled my left hammy 

 

Plie squats 

1×10x10 

3×10x15 

 

30 min on the stair mill level 5 

 

I felt like I had never worked out before, it was tough. But I feel great now.
