Today was a relaxing kind of day. Woke up early to watch the Blazers lose to stinking Canadians eh, but it was fun to watch.

M1: cracklin oat bran, skim milk

M2: banana

M3: 1/2 sub turkey and salami on wheat, mustard, tomato, lettuce and onion, 1 bag chips, shared a pepsi

M4: small chocolate dipped cone

M5: couple of handfuls of cracklin oat bran

Real crappy day of eatting. But whatever, this week will be better.

Monday, January 14th, 2008

My run today was very difficult and I cannot figure out why. I barely cut my mile down and I felt like I ran so hard. Then afterwards I kept having to take walking breaks it was annoying, I just couldn’t keep up like usual. I’ll have to post the stats later because I forgot to write them down.

M1: raisin & cinnamon bagel, dab butter, honey dew melon

M2: leftover chicken and veggie chinese w/no rice

M3: 1 onion ring, lemon and chive salmon salad from Claim Jumper half order, 1 slice garlic toast, couldn’t even finish my salad but I ate all the salmon. hawaiin blue martini

M4: ok I’m going to be honest here, this is what I drank when we went out. Beers were a $1, 1 Fishtale IPA, 2-3 coors lights, 1 redbull vodka

M5: after all that dancing I needed some food. 1 taco supreme, 1 crunchy gordita

Not very proud of eatting so late and so crappy but I was having fun.

Finally got up this morning and ran. I started late but decided to just eat something quick on the way to work instead of make something and eat it at home, this way I would have time to run. My legs are very sore from all of this work. I’m sooooooooo proud of myself, I worked out everyday this week!

HIIT:

243.6 cal/ 25 min/ 1.860 miles/ max 6.2

Diet:

M1: 1/2 raisin cinnamon bagel, natural pb, nancy’s nonfat yogurt, san T3, L-glutamine

M2: sugar free jell-o pudding snack, red bull, potassium

M3: TLC cheddar crackers, tuna salad, l-glutamine, san T3

M4:TLC granola bar, potassium, whole soy yogurt

M5:chinese chicken & veggies, white rice

Ok, after going through my old forum posts about my first 12 week transformation I realize how determined and organized I was. I also realized that I need to blog my food intake, it is the only way to stay on track. I might not always know calories but it will give me an idea of what I’m doing and what I need to correct. Also I’m realizing that I need to incoporate more protein, I didn’t realize how much protein I was eatting then and it really did pay off. I’m so glad I can look back on these now to help me strategize. So my food for today is, well not that great but I’ll post anyways.

m1: fried egg( in olive oil pam) on 1 slice potato bread, couple sprays of can’t believe it’s not butter spray

m2: banana

m3: whole grain gold fish, kashi granola bar, red bull

m4: taco salad (romain lettuce, cilantro, kidney beans, lean ground beef, little pepper jack cheese)

m5: odwalla bar (banana nut)

m6: bbq chicken, plain mashed sweet potato, romaine salad w/light done right italian dressing, skim milk

Holy crap! after posting this I just realized how shitty my diet was today. Look at all those carbs! and hardly any protein. my goodness, well now I’m glad I posted this, time to clean this diet up. I need to order some more protein, I will be making a bb.com purchase shortly. I’m just in shock at how much my diet has changed since my very first transformation. I mean I eat healthy compared to most people, but not for someone who is trying to lose weight and gain muscle.

I’ll be posting wo info later.

Had a great run, I was angry at the time so I used that to my benefit.

Got going really late this morning so tonight I’ll have to do weights and my cardio. So I’ll be posting later…

So I had a great workout. I think it actually exhausted me because I could not get up for anything today. So now I have to do my cardio at night. This is becoming a pattern, but quite frankly I don’t care when I get it done as long as I get it done. So here’s what I did:

Leg day- 3 sets of 15 rep x 7.5 unless it was abs and that was without weight. I did all of this in a circuit.

closed squats ~ front lunges (16) ~ open squats ~ back lunges (16) ~ plie squats ~ calf raises ~ crunches ~ reverse crunches ~ bicycles (30) ~ side crunches ~ v-ups

my legs were still a little sore from the day before but I pushed through it. Then I did-

HIIT:

205.9 cal/ 20 min/ 1.489 miles/ max 5.5

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Today is a new day. I woke up feeling better this morning, but now that I’m at work my nose is starting to run again. Hopefully this isn’t a repeat of yesterday. Hopefully today when I get home I’ll have enough energy to get through my workout.

Even though I got started late this morning I still got a little bit of cardio in.

HIIT:

1.075 miles/ 15 min/ 152.2 cal/ max 5.5

I’m happy to say that I got my workout in. Here it is:

I did 3 sets of 15 reps x 7.5 in a circut of the following moves~

flyes ~ db press ~ curls ~ hammer curls ~ overhead press ~ lateral raise ~ arnold press ~ closed squats ~ open squats ~ plie squats

Then I ran I got my mile down to 10.24! I’m almost there. My run was so hard, my legs were dead weight after the squats but I got through it.

1.335 miles/ 15 min/ 182.8 cal/ 10.24 min mile @ 5.8

It feels good to be back in the groove of things. I struggled with confidence at the beginning of my run today, but once I got going I just said get it over with and you can rest later. It’s always a confidence booster once your done with your workout and I pushed harder than the machine said to.

HIIT:

2.292 miles/ 30 min/ 317.5 cal/ max 6

I think either my body is trying to get sick again or it had some stuff to still get rid of because all day yesterday and so far today I can’t stop blowing my nose and sneezing. Ah, sickness, be rid of yourself and let my body be healthy again!

Tonight is weights chest, bi’s, shoulders and legs. I’m anxious to see how sore I get after 2 weeks of not lifting.

Well fooey, once I got home I really didn’t feel good. I didn’t even want to have to cook dinner but I did. So I didn’t workout. I plan on doing it tomorrow evening.

Today was my first run since I’ve been sick. I started back with 30 min. I did good during the run, I had to take a couple of walking breaks. Taking a 2 week break really effects your stamina. But I’ll be back to normal again soon. My right calf and quads are a little sore, lol, I haven’t been sore from a run in forever.

I got knocked the f*** out last night.

I took another double dose of the meds last night and man it was strong. But I barely coughed last night so it worked! I planned on getting up at 4:30 to walk again but that didn’t happen. When my alarm went off I could barely move. That shit is strong. So I hit the snooze button for an hour and a half and every time I did I fell right back into a deep sleep for 9 min until it went off again. So I’m happy that I didn’t tell my self that this morning would be an official workout because I’d be disappointed in myself. Tomorrow is the official. We’ll see how long I can run before my lungs give in. Then Monday it’s back to the weights! I cannot wait.

1.3.08 just couldn’t wait

Well I was feeling so good yesterday & last night that I decided today I would start working out again. But I started off really light and slow. All I did was walk, even that made me start coughing some. My lungs are still messed up, I was up again last night coughing. Who knows what time I actually fell asleep, but it was better than the night before. I tried so many different ways of breathing last night but I think it was the cough syrup with vicodin mixed in that finally helped, I took a double dose last night. I hate taking crap like that but right now I’d rather get some sleep and just deal with the drugged feeling the next day. So the walking was really nothing much but I burned more calories doing it then not doing it.

105 cal/ 15 min/ .862 miles/ incline 3
